Asus A8F Notebook Review

Having looked in bricks & mortar stores at physical sizes, she settled on 14.1” as the ideal choice and one I consider to be the ideal fusion of screen size and portability

Relatively lightweight ; Good battery life (4.5hrs) ; Good build quality ; Integrated webcam ; Virtually silent operation ; Cool running

Annoying touchpad design ; Fiddly screen opening mechanism ; Relatively expensive for specification ; Poor card-reader design

This is the other main strength of this system (along with heat/noise) and combined with the weight makes the A8F an excellent budget orientated travel companion

Another Good Asus Product

This laptop is Made in Taiwan, and it means the quality control is better. This only occurs on high end laptops in most brands. But this sub-1000 laptop is not Made in China and the quality is wonderful

Very fast performance; feels solid when holding it; very light for male users; excellent quality LCD; very good DVD burner, the built-in webcam is basic but performing more than I expected

4200rpm Hard Drive. Would be a perfect high quality deal if it's a faster hard drive

Another quality product from ASUS

If you are looking for a portable and powerful laptop this is the one.

Perfect design, the laptop looks very stylish. Temperature control keeps it relatively cool even when you put it on your laps for a long time. Good performance with Intel Core Duo T2400 and very good battery life. Web-cam has a very good picture...

Absence of a Bluetooth is the biggest downside for me. Also 4200 RPM hard drive is a little slow for some applications

Asus A8F

Bought as link between work and home, will be perfect for the working aspect, but don't expect to be watching too many dvds on it due to the sound being too quiet.

Very sleek, good design. Fast and easy access to all features

No bluetooth, speakers are QUIET!!, doesn't like to be jarred while doing something
