Asus EEE PC 1001P GO

nice product, has a decent look, battery life 5 to 6 hours, display is okay, good for net browsing. not fast, upgrading memory will not work because of processor type. for low budget, it's a good choice.

This is a replacement for the 1000HA. New unit has a smaller footprint yet the screen size is the same. Increased memory to 2 GB, which provided a much faster unit. The increased battery life is a much welcomed feature. Great for travel.

Excellent netbook. Fast enough though I might add more ram. Great for travel and commuting. We had a flyoff at work between Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo netbooks. This one tied with HP for top spot. All this was based on user evaluations.

Absolutely what I need. Much lighter than my IBM laptop. Thank you
