Max Payne 3 Benchmarked

Lord of Bullet Time. After a perceived eternity, Max Payne returns to our home computer screens. The third part was not developed by Remedy, but by GTA studio Rockstar. Aside from strengths and weaknesses, this article illuminates game performance with...

Those seeking to play the game in high detail will require an upper-middle class GPU such as the GeForce GT 640M, provided they are willing to sacrifice tessellation which drained a lot of performance in our testing. If tessellation is a must, one...

Review Asus Eee PC 1011CX Netbook

Unspectacular. In February, Asus presented their new Eee PC 1011CX with an Intel Atom N2600 dual-core CPU and a 10.1 inch display, along with six other models. The chassis, however, has only changed to a limited extent over these years. In this review,...

HDMI output ; Pleasant input devices ; Bright and high contrast display ; Suitable for outdoor use ; Passive cooling system ; Power consumption and battery life

Legacy case design ; No USB 3.0 or Bluetooth 4.0 ; Limited upgradability ; Only 12 month warranty ; Meager system performance ; High temperatures with a high load ; Average speaker quality

The fact that Asus hasn't used the newly acquired space from the absent cooling system for adding new features

For one thing, competition comes from the same manufacturer, namely the Asus EeePC 1015PEM, which doesn't have the N570, yet manages to be an almost identical device to the 1015PEM. Alternatives with Intel Atom N570 are the Acer Aspire one Happy 2 or...

Asus 1025C review: Asus 1025C

The Asus Eee PC 1025C Flare has amazing battery life, and is probably the least expensive Windows 7 laptop you'll find.

Just about everything else is substandard. A machine like this was acceptable a few years ago, but it just doesn't cut it in the post-iPad world.

Asus brought Netbooks into the world, and with the last-gasp Eee PC 1025C Flare, it looks like it's going to take them out as well.

Asus Eee PC 1015B

The Asus Eee PC 1015B offers a basic netbook for under $300, a price low enough to overlook a few flaws, like slow performance and a cramped keyboard.

Asus Eee PC 1015B

The ASUS Eee PC 1015B's AMD processor offers decent graphics performance for a low price, but dual-core Atom machines are faster overall and last longer on a charge.

The ASUS Eee PC 1015B proves that AMD can play in the netbook space, and this machine certainly benchmarks better in the graphics department than most Intel Atom-powered machines. However, for just $20 more you can get the 1015PEM, which offers a...

ASUS Eee PC 1015b Review

This 10-inch netbook has an AMD Fusion processor with AMD Radeon graphics and retails for just $289. Is it really any better than those boring netbooks with Intel Atom processors? Read our review to find out.

Asus Eee PC 1015PN-PU17 (black) review:

Asus has more Eee PC Netbook varieties than we can practically count; if you've lost track, you're not alone. Nvidia Ion graphics are the big addition to the Eee PC 1015PN, a $429 higher-end configuration of the Eee PC 1015PEM and 1015PED we reviewed...

Nvidia Ion graphics for improved video playback and gaming; HDMI-out port added; dual-core Atom CPU.

No automatic-switching graphics; lacks higher-def display; only 1GB of RAM; price approaches better-performing 11.6-inch ultraportables.

The compact 10-inch Asus Eee PC 1015PN offers a dual-core Atom processor and Nvidia Ion graphics for decidedly better-than-average Netbook performance, but premium ultraportables that aren't much more expensive can do better still.
