Asus EeePC 1018P Netbook

Here's something that you can call a business netbook, the Asus EeePC 1018P, and it looks stylish yet quite professional. So, if you've been complaining that netbooks don't look professional and that you'd rather carry a laptop than a tiny toy-like...

Personal Take Despite the single core CPU, I’d say, at Rs 26,999, it’s a better pick than a N450 netbook, but again, the truth is, that you’d be paying that extra buck for the metallic shell, aesthetics and style, than the performance and...

Asus' Underpowered Netbook Is a Big Help in the Fi...

With the slick Eee PC 1018P, Netbook pioneer Asus attempts to meet consumer's demands for supreme portability, power and style in their mobile rigs.

The 250-GB (5400 RPM) hard drive offers more than enough room to store your field notes. Memory card reader and three USB 2.0 ports will help you show off those photos and videos you shot of insects and plant life. Stylish, sleek design means you'll be...

HD video clips jittery in playback. Black metallic lid gets easily smudged by sweaty fingers. Script font used for Eee PC badge on bezel looks cheesy

ASUS Eee PC 1018p

An aluminum design makes this one of the sexiest and sturdiest netbooks yet, but the ergonomics could be much better.

While the Eee PC 1018P is a very attractive netbok, its small keys, incredibly stiff mouse buttons, and washed out webcam prove that you can't judge a netbook by its cover. Though this machine is certainly usable, competitors offer a better experience...

ASUS Eee PC 1018P and 1015PE review

You'd think after running into ASUS's next generation Eee PC 1018P and 1015PE over five months ago at CeBIT, our excitement may have waned for the stylish netbooks. Oh, but it's actually the opposite, and when the brand new netbooks arrived last week,...

Aluminum, non-glossy lid ; Wide, comfortable touchpad ; Spacious keyboard

Less battery life than previous generation ; Poor LCD viewing angles ; Thicker than the Eee PC 1018P

Everything I expected

To make this the ideal computer, you'll have to uninstall most of the bloatware that asus and best buy preinstall. Then you'll want to customize the computer by downsizing icons. Finally, install chrome as your browser (with chrome the browsing is...

1. Great value ; 2. Perfect size: big enough to type easily but small enough to fit in a ziplock bag ; 3. Fast load

1. Shorter battery life than advertised ; 2. Loaded with bloatware

You get what you pay for!

Had to return the first 2 as they didn't work out of the box. The third one has been in the shop for repairs 4 times. After just getting it back on Thurs., Friday afternoon the hard drive died. I would NOT recommend this laptop to my worst enemy.

None I can think of

Unreliable. Repairs end up costing more than the laptop. Plan on lots of them. 'd give it "zero" stars if it were an option

A good latop.

It was a good machine while it lasted (2 months (after I dropped it)), Good for basic computer users.

Small light, design from the future. Quiet, lots of space. Usb 3.0

Display breaks way to easily, bios has issues with express gate

Great Computer but don't drop it!!

I like the finish and size of the frame ...its classy and very professional looking.... unfortunately at the same time...because of the same things I like it... are the same reasons I don't really recommend it.... the design and the size are very...

very nice computer, it has everything you need in a small computer, it's very classy and it works great

I recently drop it from the couch into a wood floor and the screen my recommendation is ...if you have kids don't buy it...or make sure you buy the warranty. (One drop and its gone, does not seem fair)
