Hate!

I have owned this computer for about 6 months. It is much slower than my old laptop with less memory. I am constantly waiting minutes for it to open a program. Programs freeze randomly, even when my computer claims to have ample memory. The function...

Lightweight, good battery life, HDMI port

Everything else

I like it :D

Linux netssd 2.6.37-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Feb 18 18:32:16 CET 2011 x86_64 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N450 @ 1.66GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

The day i got it, i ripped it open and put a solid state drive in it, and running 64bit linux ; Runs very nicely for what i needed a netbook to do ; The nvidia ion gpu plays 720p and 1080p video on linux with ease(both on screen, and out the hdmi port

you have to totally gut the thing to replace the harddrive

EeePC

Asus's customer service is very substandard. When youy call it you get a Jamaican NOT an American. It took several calls to get an RMA# and several more to get the RMA instructions emailed to me. I would not reccomend it to anyone.

Good OS. Ample RAM & CPU speed. So So harddrive size

Keyboard is very cheaply made. Had mine for 2 months and was already messing up. No optical drive

wow!!!

Other than the ram and it's being a 32 bits. I love it. :) The best laptop I've ever owned and it's synchronizes with my PS3. Oo and other computers that uses the same internet network. COOL

Laptop is not that bad. It has 3 usb slots, SD slot and a HDMI 1080P output. The speed is decent and the screen size is not bad (love it). It is very light to carry. I haven't had a problem with it yet or it's because my boyfriend the deleted all the...

It's a 32 bits. I wish it was 64 bits. you could upgrade the ram without a problem is that you're limited of the ram that could be recognize. :(. but 4gb is enough. :)

Impressed

For those that are not aware, all those laptops and netbooks being sold with Windows 7 STARTER edition cannot use multiple monitors! So that nifty extra output, such as VGA or even HDMI is useless with the Starter edition (unless you get other...

Very nice graphics, especially for a netbook. This can handle graphics such as HD video much better than my HP laptop ; Windows 7 home PREMIUM (see other thoughts) ; full size keyboard is nice, only 3 lbs, and battery lasts at least 6 hours on balanced...

NVIDIA ION 2 IS GREAT!!!!! BUT FALLS SHORT

HAD THIS NETBOOK HAD A DUAL CORE ATOM PROCESSOR (N330) IT WOULD HAVE SOMETHING THAT WOULD TRULY STAND UP TO DESKTOPS.

THIS IS A GREAT NETBOOK FOR THINGS FROM VIDEO TO GAMING. IT CAN HANDLE HD VIDEOS PRETTY WELL ON SITES LIKE YOUTUBE AND HULU. WITH FLASH 10.1 IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC FOR FLASH BASED GAMES ; YOU CAN RUN GAMES FROM STARCRAFT II TO WOW

ITS NOT A DUAL CORE LIKE THE N330 OFFERED IN THE 1201N ; YOU WILL GET INTEL ATOM N450 ONLY (SINGLE CORE) ; 2 GB MEMORY IS ONLY DDR2 VS. THE DD3 OFFERED BY HP MINI 311

Next Gen Netbook

Overall great laptop I have no problems with it so far, I bought two of these, one red and the other black. Great..???..Outstanding Netbook.

Ideal usage is for net surfing and some MMORPG gaming. It handles both hands down. Faster then previous ACER netbooks that I have owned and very satisfied with the Next-Gen NVIDIA ION graphics. I play Guildwars and WoW which handles both without a...

Sorta shocked....

All though I feel ripped off that the 1201PN came out just a month after I had bought my 1201N and at a cheaper price than what I paid a month ago. I would have to say that if I could put a fresh copy of win 7 on the netbook and increase it's ram I...

I'm kinda shocked that 1201PN was released a month after I had bought my 1201N, I'm happy with the proformance an the looks of the netbook, although it does get rather hot. I feel kinda ripped off

Heat is an issue and not havin it plugged in constantly the battery tends to drain rather quickly, if im not constantly usin it and have the sitting toned down it would last longer than 3 hours TOPS! maybe even four ; I don't like all the pre-loaded...
