Stylish design and stability; Interface array; Generous keyboard; Low noise level; Efficient cooling system

Small scope of delivery; Unsmooth touchpad control; High gloss display; Average display rates; Permanently running fan

Newer netbooks with 11.6 or 12.1 inch display are scarce on the market. However, alternatives would for example be the Acer Aspire One 722 or the HP Pavilion dm1-3180eg netbook.

Asus Eee 1215N Review

We've been waiting a long time for this. We first heard about Nvidia's next-generation Ion chip way back in the first months of 2010. They were supposed to ship with Nvidia's Optimus graphics-switching technology back in April. Okay, June. July at the...

1080p playback; HDMI out; great build quality; decent gaming performance

No Bluetooth; USB 3.0 coming later. Battery could be better

Once you take away all the things that hamper traditional netbooks—a slow CPU, limited RAM, Intel graphics—and add a 1366x768 screen, Windows 7 Home Premium, and an HDMI port, is the end result even still a netbook? We say yes: the 1215N is sleek and...

Eee PC 1215N

Well, this is kinda interesting: a brand new Roku just hit the FCC, sporting model number 2400X. Beyond the fact that we just got a trio of new streaming media boxes from the company, the model number would almost seem to imply this is a last-gen...

Asus Eee PC 1215B review

By ditching the long-in-the-tooth Intel Atom processor for the AMD E-350 Fusion platform, Asus graduates this 12.1-inch Eee PC from the flailing Netbook category to the more comfortable ultraportable one. At $449, which includes a USB 3.0 port, the Eee...

The Asus Eee PC 1215B gets a CPU upgrade, as well as excellent battery life and USB 3.0.

The long-standing Eee PC design is starting to look more than a little dated, and comparable systems offer bigger or faster hard drives.

Asus updates the Eee PC line with AMD's excellent ultraportable CPU, making for a powerful, portable package, but the field is getting crowded in this category.

Asus Eee PC 1215B

The Asus EeePC 1215B is a competent netbook with some high-end features, like USB 3.0, HDMI with 1080p output, and an AMD E-350 processor.

12-inch display. USB 3.0. HDMI offers 1080p output.

Keyboard is small. Battery life is a little short.

Asus Eee PC 1215B

It's an ultraportable, it's a netbook, it's an ultraportable, it's a netbook... Judging by its size, screen real estate, and features, Asus's 3.3-pound Eee PC 1215B is an ultraportable. However, it's priced at only $450 and sold as part of Asus's...

Ultraportable in size and screen real estate ; Good ergonomics and video playback

Not for gaming ; Slow benchmark performance

If you want the ultraportable form factor and can live without state-of-the-art performance, this laptop is a bargain.

Asus Eee PC 1215B

The addition of AMD's Fusion processor gives the Eee PC 1215 multimedia might at a price that's right.

ASUS is late to the AMD Fusion party, but the Eee PC 1215B offers slightly better overall performance than competing ultraportables from HP and Sony. And, at $439, the 1215B manages to undercut the competition, and is even $30 less expensive than its...

Asus Eee PC 1215N Review - PCWorld

The Asus Eee PC 1215N is a netbook that doesn't look like a netbook.

Big display; higher resolution than most netbooks

Severe motion smearing in fast action video

Asus delivers a netbook in an ultraportable skin, but price and performance may not satisfy.
