Review Asus Eee PC 1215T Netbook

The Second Try. In the Eee PC 1215T, Asus releases a new AMD netb

The chic design and good manufacturing.; Interface circumference (HDMI); Large touchpad and keyboard; Convincing AMD hardware; Good emissions; HD rendering

TFT not AR coated; Poor display rates; Loudspeaker quality; High-gloss bezel; Stiff mouse replacement keys; Poor scope of delivery

Small netbooks or subnotebooks with CULV hardware. Among others, the Asus Eee PC 1215N with a ION 2 graphics unit, the Asus Lamborghini VX6 Eee PC with a dual core processor, the smaller Acer Aspire One 521 netbook with similar equipment and the Asus...

Asus EeePC 1215T Netbook: A Catchy One

The Asus EeePC 1215T belongs to the Seashell series and it is not powered by an Intel Atom processor, which is common to most netbooks. However, it still is a 12-inch netbook that offers a small form factor, light weight, portability and good battery...

The 1215T has 2 GB RAM, a 320 GB hard drive, a 12.1-inch glossy screen and graphics is courtesy an ATI Radeon HD 4250. Display options include an HDMI and a VGA port, and there are 3 USB ports, a Kensington lock slot, audio jacks and a webcam....

Asus Eee PC 1215T

A 12-inch netbook that puts regular 10-inch netbooks to shame with its performance, meet the new Asus Eee PC 1215T.

12-inch widescreen display ; Faster processor, dedicated graphics ; Better performance than most netbooks ; Can play both 720p and 1080p HD video; HDMI port included ; Instant-ON ExpressGate OS

Below-par keyboard design and feedback ; Touchpad button takes time getting used to ; Mediocre battery life

The Asus Eee PC 1215T is a 12-inch netbook which offers greater performance, larger screen compared to Intel Atom-based netbooks currently available in the market. It can also play 1080p HD video files and comes with an HDMI port. However, it has a...

Will not buy Asus agin

I am shopping for a replacement, but I doubt it will be an Asus laptop.

It worked well until it would not display a BIOS message and the hard drive starting making the click of death sound.

I would rate this laptop higher except that it lasted only a little over two and half years. It was a gift to my mother and the laptop never left her house, so it was not bumped around nor subjected to extreme enviroments.

Solid

For the traveler, this is a solid solution for the geek on the go that needs more than a tablet and doesn't need the weight of a full sized laptop. Not bad.

great netbook

I bought this for the wife as she went back to school and she loves it. When the PS3 was down we used the HDMI for Netflix which I thought was great. After several months there are no complaints except for the mouse buttons. I find it hard to use bt...

12.1" screen is good size for a netbook. HDMI and 4 USB ports are nice. Battery life is good at 3 - 4 hours of normal use

The only negative is the mouse buttons. Small and hard to click

Mothers day present

Got this for my mother who has never used a computer before. She loves it and is amazed with everything. She was able to learn many things quickly but needed a few tips and help when she first got it.

Never actually used it personally but my mom has never complained...

This computer is worth every dollar you pay for it

This computer really rocks for the price. Even though it has negatives it really is worth every dollar you pay for it. Good job ASUS!

-awesome keyboard -LED widescreen monitor -powerful speakers for a laptop this size -decent battery life -easy to update bios/drivers on ASUS page

-2 gigabytes of ram -the fact that if you want to add more ram you need to remove the 2 gigs on the computer and add a 4 gb ram memory. Why you can't just add another 2gb is beyond my understanding, but I didn't like it, however. -it gets easily dirty....

Lite and fast

I really like this small 12 inch, lite weight , compact format. I find myself reaching for this 12inch, instead of my 17inch 9lb HP laptop. It's just so easy. :)

Lite, fast, just what you need on the go, or relaxing somewhere. Nice keyboard with Fn keys available.

Battery has to be recharge every night, so it will not be an issue for heavy use(light use the battery is fine).
