Asus F3sv-A1 Review

The Asus name has been synonymous with quality notebooks, and the F3sv-A1 certainly exemplifies it. The F3sv-A1 is a replacement for the previous F3j line of notebooks, sporting a new build, motherboard while still preserving the high-end yet budget...

Features and specs for the price ; Runs silently and with minimal heat ; Performance and elegance ; Warranties and technical support

Battery life ; Touchpad doesn't have rocker wheel

The Asus F3sv is a phenomenal 15.4” notebook in all respects. While it is relatively heavy and has poor battery life, it's compromised portability is vastly outweighed by its feature set, performance, build quality and total polish

Asus F3SV-B1 Laptop Review

Its performance was above and beyond my expectations. This puppy is sleek, well-designed, backed by a great warranty, and priced under its competition.

ASUS F3Sv

The F3Sv is one of ASUS's less fancy looking options. Unlike the ASUS W5FE (2P002A) or Lamborghini VX2, the F3Sv is just a sturdy machine that does wh...

TV-tuner card, DVI port

Screen contrast, below average battery life

Sturdy, speedy and yet simple, the F3Sv has some perks, but mainly it just gets the job done. The TV tuner is a nice addition and so is the DVI port. If you're after a unit that will run a wide array of applications without too much pizzazz, the F3Sv...

ASUS F3Sv (pre-production model)

1GB turbo memory, new Centrino Pro technology

Pre-production model only

Centrino Pro has definitely brought some interesting benefits to the game and the Asus F3Sv is a prime example of what can be done with this hot new hardware.

Another Winner from ASUS

ASUS needs to include more information describing components in systems.

Great Notebook, My second from ASUS, Delivered by NEWEGG.com. 1 GB Turbo-Memory is a real boost at boot-up, 2GB memory is my suggested Min for Vista and the Graphics card, WOW. Overall performance is great. Security chip is nice, but not explained too...

Screen resolution should be higher with the graphics card. Finger print reader is cool, but not necessary

The One I Was Looking For

I was looking for a reliable laptop after others seem to have about a year life-time. So hopefully this one will stick with and...and if it doesn't- 2year warranty!

Awesome non-integrated video card, 2year warranty...Simply everything I was looking for and more

A little on the higher price end than other companies, but you're paying for true quality

My Unequivocal Recommendation to All My Clients

I run a small boutique computer consulting business and this F3SV-BS is just a good looking notebook with better and more features than any other vendor is currently offering. And it's an ASUS...one of the truly premiere manufacturers out there. This,...

256MB discreet nVidia card (crucial for Vista) ; 2GB DDR2 Ram (Crucial for Vista) ; 801.11n ready as possible ; Fingerprint biometric login ; Bluetooth ; Webcam/microphone ; 6.5 Lbs for real

Absolutely no issues here. This machine handles Vista even if you can't(or won't). :-)
