Terrible Garbage

Dont buy anything Asus thats under 1000 dollars. You wont like it. They gained some bad rep with this. I am appalled.

Slow. Terrible programs on it. Refurb was horribly done. Turned off every 30 minutes ON THE DOT. Tried 3 different operating systems. All sorts of tweeks. Turned out to be a motherboard issue ; PRICE. for a bad refurb, the price was awful

Great Laptop, can't create restore DVD's

Windows 8 may be easy for a person that adapts to touch centered applications but for a person that has been using computers for years, where did my start button go? Can't find an easy way to create restore CD's so if my hard drive dies, I am done....

Newegg, not the laptop, is to blame

The specs on Newegg show 6GB of RAM, a 750GB HDD, and a NVIDIA GT 610M. In reality, you will get a laptop with 4GB or RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and Intel HD 4000 Graphics. Very disappointed in Newegg. I will have to find a laptop elsewhere.

Excellent body ; Large screen ; Stays cool ; Thin and light

Not the laptop Newegg claims it is
