poor quality

I will seriously reevaluate ASUS before I buy another ASUS product

play games and runs programs I want

Case is very flimsy. The computer is literally coming apart whenever I open the lid. The case comes apart to the point that I can see the internals of the computer

Asus F75VD

This Notebook came with windows 7 before it came out with windows 8, so all the drivers for Windows 7 are on ASUS website, and easy to download and install.

After removing windows 8 which I think sucks, and installing a 1TB Seagate Hybrid HDD and Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, The computer rocks, and is really fast

Windows 8 it's like the windows Millennium it sucks, Get rid of it, and you have a Great Notebook. Should be able to buy it with Windows 7

Video Issue

When I received the unit, the first thing I noticed was how much the case flexes, expecially the top/display. After a few days, I had left the unit on all night to defragment the harddrive after installing all of my software. The next morning, the...

17" display. Lightweight

Flimsy case. Construction quality seems subpar

First Asus

I love this laptop. My previous was a terrible Toshiba laptop. This laptop does what I need it to (runs Rift well, DN, LOL, etc), while also streaming with no problem. I do not mind W8 once you get used to it, but so far a few games have had...

The best of the ugly ducklings

This is a great reliable computer and works great after removing all of the Asus bloat. The speakers are loud and the LCD is clear. MY only gripe is that it is just plain ugly. It looked much better in the photos. The base is a little larger than some...

Great specs for the price ; Fast processor ; Windows 7 and not Windows 8 ; Doesn't heat up at all

Ugly Ugly Ugly ; The keyboard is cheap and should be larger for this size of laptop ; The integrated touchpad buttons

Good for the price

I got this rig so I could just generally surf the internet and play some games (Generally Steam games and minecraft), but I didn't have the budget/need for a high-spec game laptop or the space for a desktop and so far I'm satisfied with what I have. I...

Cost is good for light to mid-level graphics for gaming. Nice big screen and fairly light as far as a 17-incher goes. Gets the job done

Touch pad is touchy as all heck if you don't adjust the settings, you'll need a single jack or USB headset, screen can be a little dark outside of games
