Asus G73SW-BST6

The Asus G73SW-BST6 packs plenty of cutting edge technology into its substantial 17-inch frame.

Speedy Sandy Bridge Core i7 processor. Solid graphics performance. Robust audio.

Relatively low-res screen. No blu-ray drive. Mediocre battery life.

Asus G73Jw Review - PCWorld

Gamers looking for a powerful yet portable machine can stop looking. The Asus G73Jw is here. It's only a mild update to Asus's most recent previous lean, mean, gaming machine, the G73Jh. But with a slightly faster processor (a 1.73GHz Core i7 740QM vs....

Bright, easy-to-view screen

Keyboard is very slippery

This is a great notebook for gamers who are willing to spend additional money on peripherals.

Review Asus G73JW Notebook (GTX 460M)

Powered by Fermi. Asus' 17-inch gaming notebook G73 is soon to feature NVidia's brand new high-end graphics card, the GeForce GTX 460M. Thanks to a pre-released version we have been able to extensively review the upgraded G73JW.

Unique Design, Matte Case, Flawless Build, Insignificant Heat Output, Contrast-Rich Display, Large Touchpad, Backlit Keyboard (white), Very High Performance, Hybrid Hard Disks, Good Sound, USB-3.0-Port, The matte case exterior is delightfully...

Relatively Few Ports, Somewhat Spongy Keyboard, Highly Reflective Display, Short Battery Life, Very Heavy, Very little. The option of a matte display would be nice, but it's probably wishful thinking for a gaming notebook

Great build quality ; Very functional design ; Excellent display

Limited multitouch features ; No onboard RAID ; Not as fast as G73JH ; The ASUS G73JW is a formidable 17.3-inch gaming notebook equipped with a quad-core Iprocessor and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics card.

Asus G73Jw-A1 Review

A 17-inch notebook is going to be big, there's just no way around it. But after reviewing Malibal's ginormous X7200 desktop replacement in our Holiday issue, Asus's eight-pound, 11.8-ounce G73Jw-A1 seems highly portable by comparison. And at...

Quad-core i7; DX11 graphics; decent sound system; HD screen

You'll need to dial down detail to play newer games

Physically, the G73Jw-A1 is solid. Its matte finish mitigates unsightly fingerprints and its rubberized palm rest area feels pleasant. We also like the full-size chiclet-style keyboard, which is backlit for greater visibility in dark environments. And...

ASUS G73Jw Gaming Notebook: Toothless Monster?

Despite being a gaming laptop, the G73Jw doesn't show any traits of handling intense games.

Despite a lot of neat features and some decent specifications, the G73Jw disappoints where it matters the most. This notebook performs averagely and would probably be a good buy had it been priced lower. Although the MSI GT663R comes at Rs. 1,49,999 it...

Asus G73Jw review

Gamers looking for a powerful yet portable machine can stop looking. The Asus G73Jw laptop is here.

You get a bright, easy-to-view screen and a very fast processor, but the keyboard is very slippery, with small, stiff, keys. Overall, however, this is a great laptop for gamers who are willing to spend additional money on peripherals.
