Ready for the Finale. Asus is one of the first manufacturers pres

Matte FullHD display with good values; Rather quiet for a gaming laptop; Excellent connectivity; Insensitive surfaces; Fast Solid State Drive; Moderate temperatures; Handy touchpad; Keyboard light; Excellent performance; Blu ray drive; No Throttling

Big and heavy case; No Optimus

Asus G75VW: A Budget-Friendly Gaming Laptop With Mediocre Performance

Asus probably isn't the first company that comes to mind when you think of big desktop replacement laptops that are optimized for gaming. The Asus G75VW, however, is the latest in a long line of gaming laptops produced by the company under the...

Bad Customer Support

I will never buy an Asus product again after the way I was treated. I used to own all asus computers.

Fast, good specs

Had to RMA it twice for the same issue. Lost a few weeks for the repair. Customer service is giving me hard time. Unreliable computer, maybe I just got a lemon. Still waiting on my pc

Touchpad Fails

Operates well. I like the option for setting up RAID with the two hard drives. Still should have gone with something else

Touchpad failed after one week. Un-installed the drivers and re-installed them. Right click does not work and the pad only allows you to move the mouse. No tap or zoom for the pad itself. Wife uses it for online classes so there is no time to return...

First Neweeg/ Asus purchase...

Easy and straight forward case design makes upgrading easy ; Gorgeous graphics card

Until further notice... This will remain at three eggs ; I loved this laptop, until I realized that unless it's plugged in... it can't game at all ; When it isn't plugged in( look up G75 fps stutter not plugged in) it begins to stutter and lag......

ASUS Rocks!

Love ASUS products!! Everything I have from them just works. This is a great portable gaming system at an unbeatable price. One thing to remember, it does put out a good amount of hot air out the back. So you wouldn't want to have it up against anything.

Beautiful big screen, vivid display that is easily adjusted if it is too bright or dim. Very rugged design. This beast stays cool even when playing games at the highest settings. Very fast and super quiet. Keys are nicely spaced and backlighting has...

Battery life, but not really worth an egg as this is expected for a performance machine

Some False Things in the Details

Everything. This lap top is very nice and I get decent FPS on most games which is nice for a laptop. Boots up Windows relatively fast

There is one problem that I do not have with the lap top so much but is with Newegg. Under details you can see that this laptop apparently has 3GB of GDDR5 video memory. Mine does not. It only has 1GB. My friend that has the last gen version of this...

Great computer for a desktop replacement.

Will play pretty much any game on high settings, except for some newer games ; Temps on the gpu haven't gone above 70C, with a mild OC I saw 72C ; Loads up fast, no blue screens, no issues

Large, but hey its a 17 inch. Had to get a bigger backpack

Asus g75vw

My system came with windows 7 which I loved, I recently switched to windows 8 on a previous computer. I decided to install windows 8 on this machine. It performs much better than windows 7 did and it is more responsive. I know many people do not like...

First impression was, this thing is huge! It doesn't bother me because I am currently using it as a desktop replacement. Plays high end games like Far Cry 3, BF3, and Witcher2 no problem ; Pros ; 1. No dead pixels ; 2. Power ; 3. Graphics ; 4. Speed ;...

As with any gaming laptop, battery life, it has to be plugged in at all times while gaming ; I do have an issue with my tackpad not being as responsive and somewhat slow. Re-installed drivers, rolled back drivers but still acts up ; Other than those none

A great machine!

Don't let some of these reviews scare you. If you are looking for something that you can travel with and still use with a lot of power this is it. I suggest an Everki backpack. A little on the expensive side but you won't regret paying for the great...

Incredible graphics, great speed, fast boot times, amazing multitasking, huge vibrant matte screen, light up keyboard, easy fan cleaning (one screw)

Does not run well on battery. Simple tasks are fine but gaming is out unless plugged in (not sure what you are expecting given the hardware and not plugged in)
