Some False Things in the Details

Everything. This lap top is very nice and I get decent FPS on most games which is nice for a laptop. Boots up Windows relatively fast

There is one problem that I do not have with the lap top so much but is with Newegg. Under details you can see that this laptop apparently has 3GB of GDDR5 video memory. Mine does not. It only has 1GB. My friend that has the last gen version of this...

Awesome

Great computer for a desktop replacement.

Will play pretty much any game on high settings, except for some newer games ; Temps on the gpu haven't gone above 70C, with a mild OC I saw 72C ; Loads up fast, no blue screens, no issues

Large, but hey its a 17 inch. Had to get a bigger backpack

First impression was, this thing is huge! It doesn't bother me because I am currently using it as a desktop replacement. Plays high end games like Far Cry 3, BF3, and Witcher2 no problem ; Pros ; 1. No dead pixels ; 2. Power ; 3. Graphics ; 4. Speed ;...

As with any gaming laptop, battery life, it has to be plugged in at all times while gaming ; I do have an issue with my tackpad not being as responsive and somewhat slow. Re-installed drivers, rolled back drivers but still acts up ; Other than those none

A great machine!

Don't let some of these reviews scare you. If you are looking for something that you can travel with and still use with a lot of power this is it. I suggest an Everki backpack. A little on the expensive side but you won't regret paying for the great...

Incredible graphics, great speed, fast boot times, amazing multitasking, huge vibrant matte screen, light up keyboard, easy fan cleaning (one screw)

Does not run well on battery. Simple tasks are fine but gaming is out unless plugged in (not sure what you are expecting given the hardware and not plugged in)

Can't Open the thing at all

Given the reason I bought this machine to add in my own SSD and storage drive, I am very disappointed. I understand the back has to be firm, but uprooting fingernails is a bit much.

Very solid system and case. Specs are good and comes with a great reputation

You cannot get the back off the computer without using tools. My fingers still throb from my attempt for 15 minutes before giving up. Its a great machine, but don't expect to be upgrading the hard drives easily

Great Laptop

I've had the laptop for a month now and I have no complaints. I travel and use it while on the road to play games, pay bills, watch online content, etc.I have some of the latest games installed, such as Borderlands 2 and Dishonored, and they run great.
