Quality on a budget. The entry-level category is filled with nume

Very good build quality and brushed aluminum construction for the price; Great CPU performance with no throttling; Keyboard backlight on a budget notebook; Bright glossy screen for indoor use; Large responsive touchpad; Easily accessible HDD, RAM, and...

Fingerprint magnet with hard to clean surfaces; Very difficult to use under sunlight; Ports may be too close up front; sd reader difficult to access; Poor speaker quality; Slightly on the heavy side; Inaccurate pre-calibrated colors; Arrow keys and...

Great design and chassis, very fast CPU performance and even a backlit keyboard on a budget notebook.

Good laptop for a windows user. Good deal on a refurbished model, seems to work just fine after 6 months ; Touchscreen works well for its purpose ; Keyboard has nice layout, big, and 10-key is great

Windows 8 is garbage unless you only need the PC for doing whatever Windows wants you to do. Managing and organizing your own app, internet, and media use and consumption is a chore the 1st time to the 1000th time

Great notebook for the price!

Owned for two months now. Gets over 4 hours of battery life with a decent processor. Screen looks great. Thin

Only con is the keyboard. The keys are a light grey, and they backlight is white. This makes it a little difficult to see properly when light is dim. If the keys were darker it would be much better

Decent laptop with minor issues

I've seen many reviews that complain about the keyboard and having to strike the keys in the dead center of the key in order to type. I *have* noticed this issue with some of the keys, but I quickly adapted to it. Likely was just a typing posture...

Great looking laptop overall and had a decent price when I purchased it. The 6 GB of memory is definitely a plus compared to some of the other laptops on market today. And specs are great for standard web browsing, office use, and the occasional...

Taking an egg off for a few minor, but annoying issues ; Not a huge deal as it works as expected most of the time, but I've noticed some minor performance issues with the 5400 rpm HDD. If I'm listening to music and the Windows 8 maintenance kicks on...

Bought this for a friend as a desktop replacement for her old Windows XP machine. Noticed when unpacking that there is no user-replaceable battery on this model. Not a big deal for her since it will rarely leave her desk but others should take note....

Excellent price, fast and responsive

no user-replaceable battery, no restore partition

Still running today with no problems.

It's cheap, reliable, and does what I purchased it for.

I was looking for an inexpensive web surfing laptop with a decent sized screen. It fitted the bill and has run with no problem for nearly two years at this point

It doesn't have enough CPU to do much beyond web surfing, but I knew that going in, so I wouldn't exactly call that a con

Piece of garbage, wireless doesn't work

Don't waste your money and time

Nice bright screen (before I smash this garbage into pieces). The look is good

The wireless is useless. It will work sometime and sometime not. Updating to latest drivers, reverting back the drivers, cold reboot, turn off network adapter power saving mode, tried different mode. Still not workimg. Finally, I retired iit completely...
