Review Asus N73SV Notebook

Downgrade. The sound machine, Asus N73JQ, impressed in November 2

Very good sound; Good processing performance; Good 3D performance; Always cool; Quality build; Low system noise; BluRay drive; Two hard disk slots; USB 3.0; LAN+USB on the rear

Very heavy; Spongy keys; Low contrasts; TFT not outdoor suitable; No ExpressCard54/34

Entertainers with a good sound (usually Full HD). Asus N73JQ: the predecessor, FHD; MSI GT660R-i7488BLW7P: subwoofer; Asus G73JH: subwoofer; Acer Aspire 8943G: quad power machine with four loudspeakers plus subwoofer; Toshiba Qosmio X500-121: 2.1...

ASUS N73SV (TZ033V) desktop replacement notebook

The ASUS N73SV (TZ033V) has a lot of the power and features of a basic desktop computer, which is a good thing, too, because it's designed to replace ...

Great performance ; Lots of internal storage ; Good speakers

Poor keyboard ; Wi-Fi not dual-band ; No RAID

The ASUS N73SV is designed to live on a desk and undertake almost any task you throw at it with ease. In addition to run-of-the-mill office and Web tasks, it's also useful for video editing, gaming and even design work. However, it has an awful...

Asus N73Jn

Attractively presented in brushed aluminium, this premium 17.3in multimedia laptop sports an audio system co-developed by Bang & Olufsen.

Attractive design ; Decent build quality ; Excellent connectivity

Sub-par screen ; Keyboard feels cheap

: a physical shutter, operated by a discrete switch just above it. While it's hardly groundbreaking stuff, it's a great way for the less technically savvy to ensure they're never being recorded unawares.

Asus N73Jn review

We were immediately impressed by the N73Jn's design, which is less surprising when you consider that Asus has teamed up with audiophile favourites Bang & Olufsen. A silver, metallic strip along the edge of the lid mirrors a similar strip along the side...

With an elegant design, solid performance and an array of useful expansion ports, the N73Jn is an attractive choice, but it can't quite match Acer's 8943G for value

Asus N73Jn review

The Asus N73Jn's speakers aren't as impressive as we'd hoped, but make no mistake, this 17.3-inch laptop is a fabulous all-round machine.

Attractive design ; Speakers are louder than most ; USB 3 port

Sound quality is a tad disappointing ; Screen isn't Full HD

The Asus N73Jn is a great all-round laptop. Its fancy audio system doesn't quite live up to the hype, but it's well designed, offers great performance and looks the part.

Asus N73SV

This massive 17.3-inch machine did well in our 2011 multimedia laptops roundup, but in many regards plays second-fiddle to HP's Envy 17.

Asus N73SV Core i7 Sandy Bridge 17.3in laptop

Review As a multi-media laptop the Asus NX90 [1] is undoubtedly desirable but it's as big as a barge, weighs a ton and costs an arm and a leg. However, now you can get the same Bang & Olufsen sound system, full HD screen and the latest Sandy Bridge i7...

An i7 N73 will set you back around £900 which is pretty decent value when you consider the top-end technical specification, superb full-HD screen, cracking sound reproduction, attractive looks and generally very good built quality. Compared to a 17inch...

Asus N73JN laptop

Product Asus N73JN Website http://www.asuslaptop.co.uk/ System Specifications Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz, 4GB of RAM, 2 320GB hard disks, 1GB Nvidia Geforce GT325M GPU, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Blu-ray combo drive, 17.3-inch 1600x900 LCD display,...

Great base specifications, excellent audio, non-gloss display, decent performance, USB 3.0

Flex in keyboard, multi-touchpad, expensive, battery life

The company said the N73JN was designed in conjunction with Bang & Olufsen, who apparently know a thing or two about bleeding edge audiophilia. In fact, Asus has such faith in the speaker design in the N73JN that it didn't even bung a sub-woofer under...

Better than a MacBook Pro

Easily runs all Adobe applications as well as any music production software. I don't game too much but I've played a little Counter Strike and once again, it is super smooth. Battery life is good and it runs pretty cool. Speakers are the best of any...

It does not come with a hot girlfriend, or a light up apple on the back. That's an extra $1,100
