Asus G75VW-DH72

Gaming prowess rarely comes cheap, but that doesn't mean it can't at least be affordable. The Asus G75VW-DH72 gaming laptop may offer pricing and performance well below what tricked out systems like the Eurocom Scorpius can offer, but when stacked...

Performance for all your gaming needs. Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor with 10GB of RAM. Nvidia GeForce GTX 670M graphics processing. Decent battery life. Blu-ray drive and 1080p display. Comes with Windows 8

No touch screen for Windows 8. Can't offer playable performance at top graphics settings

The Asus G75VW-DH72 may not offer the best performance, but it puts a solid gaming laptop in your hands for under two grand.

ASUS G75VW-DH72 Gaming Notebook Review

There are some laptops that are meant for ultimate portability, made of a few paper thin bits of silicon and glass with an aluminum shell wrapped around it. This is almost exactly the opposite of such a laptop. The ASUS G75VW-DH72, part of their...

The notebook seems to be pretty firmly wedged in place with cardboard end-caps. The flaps to either side contained the transformer brick and power cable, so no flex there either. I wouldn't be worried about damage unless the package had some externally...

Beast of a Laptop

Other than the sounds-I just use headphones, this laptop is computer euphoria! I play WoW with every single setting on max and it still does 90-100 fps!

i7, 16 gig RAM, 256 SSD, & 3gig NVIDIA 670 GTX-Just blazingly fast at every single thing you need/want to do

As mentioned and easily googled, sound qaulity is absolute garbage for a laptop in this price range

Bang for the Buck

I bought this for my partner and received it in record time, it was way more than she was expecting. She has had the same laptop for 5 years and when she opened this up and started playing with it her eyes started glowing. It was a little intense at...

Looking for a Beast. Found it.

I bought it for virtual machines, and it certainly has the beef to handle that. I yanked the drives after playing with Win8 for a while, so I could figure out how to lay my base OS down without a lot of rewrites to my SSD. Not a fan of UEFI, by the...

I wanted a laptop to support 32GB RAM for running virtual machines. This one comes with a mere 16GB, but is upgradeable to 32. There are a lot of goodies with this one for me -- a road-warrior/coder. I like the keyboard -- it's about the best I've had...

It's heavy. The weight isn't a major factor for me, as I will have 10 or 15 VM's loaded on it, and two or three laptops to support all that at once isn't much fun to lug around. The power brick is also a brick. I had no idea. Wondering if there are a...

Good, powerful laptop.

I'm in art school and needed a powerful laptop for 2D and 3D digital graphic design. It handles even high poly models beautifully. It is a bit heavy, so don't expect this to be the sit it on your lap and carry it under your arm to all the coffee shops....

Great laptop for less

Use for gaming, internet multiplayer, browsing, and business apps including powerpoint presentations. Product has high end components with total cost hundreds less than other company's products, including specialty builders. Main drawback is build...
