Asus NovaGo (TP370QL)

One of the first Windows laptops with a Snapdragon CPU, the Asus NovaGo 2-in-1 delivers long battery life and always-on LTE connectivity but suffers from sluggish software.

Excellent battery life. Fast LTE connectivity.

Sluggish computing performance. No USB-C. No keyboard backlighting. "Always On" feature is somewhat confusing. Ships with hobbled Windows 10 S.

Bottom Line: One of the first Windows laptops with a Snapdragon CPU, the Asus NovaGo 2-in-1 delivers long battery life and always-on LTE connectivity but suffers from sluggish software.

Asus NovaGo review: The promise and the problems with the Always Connected PC

The Asus NovaGo is one of the first Always Connected PCs that uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor. But its problems include bugs, app limitations, and the constraints of Windows 10 S.

Absolutely amazing, all-day battery life ; WiFi + cellular connectivity means that you're always connected

Windows 10 S limits the type of apps you can install ; 64-bit apps won't run, and you won't know it until you try ; You'll need to supply your own cellular SIM and plan ; Performance ranges from fair to extremely slow

The NovaGo boasts 8GB of memory and an SSD, which should produce a fairly smooth experience. If it doesn’t, something—the OS, processor, cellular radio, or some combination of all three—is at fault.
