ASUS Q200E-BCL0803E

Great price for the portability of this small refurbed ultrabook. I mainly use it for word processing, web browsing, and a bit of music playing. It boots very quickly. Battery life seems good - I can usually have it unplugged for at least 6 hours while...

I don't use the touch screen much. It seems fine to operate, but it's really only useful if you do most of your computing in the Windows 8 interface with its apps. You can't swipe between programs if you work from the desktop as in past versions of...

Pretty decent

Touchscreen, great stereo speakers that are plenty loud, good keyboard, thin and light

The touchpad is terrible. To left click, you usually have to click on the very far corner of the pad, otherwise it will register as a right click. Also it doesn't respond as well as it should

great little comp

I switched out HDD for SSD, and wow, what a difference! It was what you'd expect from a small laptop, decent at everything, I do not game, so idk about that. But you cannot upgrade the RAM or the CPU, so I just did the SSD myself. It boots up from full...

Idk if it is the HDD switch, or a driver, or what, but it was doing this tweaky touch screen thing before I made the switch. Ghost touches is what they call them, it would randomly sense a touch and bounce the mouse pointer around. I tried a few...

best in class net/ultrabook

This particular form factor (11.6" "Vivobook" type case) is still in use by ASUS, virtually unchanged. Yes, you can buy the same type of computer new for over double the price with an i5 processor but if you want a reasonably snappy machine with...

excellent out of the box ; snappy performance ; best bang for the buck ; ASUS legendary reliability and compatibility ; Windows 8 + touchscreen ; 3 USB ports

No Bluetooth (?)

What a great deal

I was torn between a Chromebook and a Windows 8 laptop for some time. I usually only have a laptop for surfing the web. That's where a Chromebook would have been ideal. The price and features of this laptop made up my mind. I didn't want a Win8 laptop...

Nice and compact

I needed a small laptop for travel and this one is perfect size. Good performance on the web. I hate Windows 8.

Amazing deal and features for the price

I took a gamble with this refurb but when this went on sale last weekend for $299 I pounced and so far it seems to have paid off big time! I absolutely love the Windows 8 with the touch screen and completely understand why people say it would not be...

DOA

I received this laptop and it would not turn on. Customer service was good about the exchange but requested I pay extra to expedite shipping. I'll wait and see what happens with the second one. The quality appeared right on par with other expensive...

Do not buy if you want to use the battery

I would not suggest buying this product. I had 2 sent to me and both had battery issues. The first one showed a battery, but would not charge. The second did not recognize the battery at all, but appears to keep a small amount of charge. I was able to...

ASUS Q200E-BSI3T08 Notebook

I bought this machine because I needed a cheap laptop for travel, with a good size hard drive and SD card slot to dump photos. I switched out the OS for Windows 7 out of preference, and so far it's running smooth. My only complaint is the slow hard...
