Asus ROG Strix GL502 review

It's hard not to love a gaming laptop this good

Rocks Full HD gaming ; Deliciously vibrant screen ; Surprisingly powerful speakers

Poor battery life

Asus' first Strix-branded laptop is a Full HD gaming rock star complete with an amazing screen and booming speakers to bring the noise.

ASUS Republic of Gamers STRIX GL502 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Black

ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix GL502 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Black

Its a nice looking laptop with good weight and size for gaming.

I'm very disappointed with its performance. Playing online games such a Rainbow Six at medium settings, even with a cooler mat the laptop runs extremely hot, motherboard around 90C. It makes me scared to play games on the thing in case I wreck it after...
