Review Asus Taichi 31-CX003H Convertible Ultrabook

Double-decker. Asus seems to have thought: "One Full HD IPS screen is nothing special" and simply builds two of the high definition screens into its Taichi 31 tablet-ultrabook. How the extravagant 13-incher fares in our tests and whether the...

2 premium Full HD IPS screens, Good build (aluminum unibody), Swift work speed owing to SSD, Decent sound quality, Low emissions, The stylish and elegant design of the Taichi 31 in its robust aluminum unibody casing

Throttling during full load, Low graphics and CPU power, Heavy weight for a tablet, High price, Less weight, which is likely only difficult to achieve for construction reasons. 1.5 kg is simply too much, especially for a tablet

Asus Taichi 31-DH71 Review

As an ultrabook, the Asus Taichi does offer a rather unique package. It does well on both the build quality as well as the performance front. But we don't really think the secondary display makes a lot of sense at this time, unless you want to show off...

Classy build, Dual display implementation, Comfortable keyboard, Good battery life

Needs to be handled with utmost care, Costs a lot of money, Only 4GB RAM

ASUS Taichi 31 Review

The Taichi can behave like a regular Ultrabook and even doubles up as a tablet when closed thanks to the secondary display on the top. Naturally, this being a one-off concept, Asus is charging a bomb for it. But is it worth the premium?

Review: ASUS TAICHI 31 - Are Two Heads Better Than One?

The advent of Windows 8 has spawned a huge number of touchscreen notebooks and many of them come with a convertible form factor that enables them to switch instantly between the tablet and laptop form. While some have used screens that rotate around a...

Stylish; Good performance; 2 Full HD IPS screens; Long battery backup

Erratic touchpad; Heavy for a tablet; Not meant for serious gaming; Few practical uses of dual screen; Very expensive

Awful quality

ASUS will not cover cost of hinge repair, says the PC is out of warranty. Quoted me several hundred for repair, though they won't know for sure until I send it in. They won't stand behind the quality of their products. This is the worst quality laptop...

Sleek looking product.

Outside screen broke. Crack appeared with no warning. Sent in for repair. Inside screen stopped working about 3 months after first repair. Sent in for repair. Hinges broke and screen won't stay up-- this is 4 months after second repair.

[Updated] Well, here is thing

[Updated 2/10/16] Well, I did not read what I wrote back then, but here are few things I want to point out. After update to windows 10 from 8.1, I am not no longer able to use ASUS dual monitor software. It doesn't auto-tilt anymore, I have to set it...

Definitely two side monitor. unlike Lenovo yoga, you don't have to put your keyboard on the bottom when you use it as tablet mode. you will get attention everywhere when people see it first time. heat distribution is fine. it does get hotter period of...

two side monitor. it takes time to change the monitors. sometimes it recognizes touch from outer monitor when you are using inner one. also sometimes it automatically memorized the touch from outer monitor when you hold it. so after you turn on your...

Good, but one glaring flaw...

I've had another laptop which I bought from HP 5 years ago that is still running stronger than this TAICHI laptop... Not a single problem from that one. Amazed at how quality can just go out the window when you don't use something tried and true......

Cheap for what it provides. Got in on black friday sale last year. Good Speed and nice resolution. Have been happy with the professional layout of the laptop

Outside screen cracked without warning, all the way across the diagonal of the screen. Something about the touch function with the cracked screen is messed up now and I cannot keep my cursor on my login password box to start windows. It continually is...
