Although it advertises 12 hrs of battery life, i can only get 10 hrs out of mine, but excellent compared to other laptops on the market! Especially the Sony Vaios which last around 2.5-3 hrs.

im needing a new laptop - and this one looks really good - but im worried about the battery life. i need it for uni and need some decent time. i'll most likely be only using word/internet. how long would it generally last?

If you have used Asus products before you'll know how perfect they really are ! This laptop is simply frekin awesome !, the weight and mouse gesture features are soo convenient !
