The beauty of the ASUS VivoBook S550 (the predecessor of the S551) was a mix of big display and great specs riding on a good price (P36-38k). The S551 has some advantages in terms of speed and battery life but that comes at a fatter price tag of P50k....

Made the wrong decision!

After much 'googling', I purchased this laptop because it seems to fit my requirements (processing muscle, hdd size, wife bluetooth and ethernet (so says the online User Manual), warranty etc). However, within 1 day of receipt I found it to be slower...

At 2.4kg, a useful travel weight. Touch screen appeared good for my purpose, as it the close to HD screen

Wifi was not reliable, Bluetooth did not exist, even though manual tells one how to set it up. Support is non-existent
