Asus W7J review: Asus W7J

Asus W7J

Similar components and design to the Apple MacBook; glare-free screen.

Not configurable; poor battery life; scroll bar-less touchpad.

The 13.3-inch Asus W7J could have been the PC alternative to the MacBook if poor battery life didn't kneecap this otherwise solid laptop.

Asus W7J with Core 2 Duo Review

While Asus notebooks remain relatively unknown to most consumers in North America, there is a large fan base that continues to grow due to the quality of Asus' notebooks. Outside of the continent, Asus is relatively well known in both Asia and Europe...

Great build quality, sturdy lid, little flex on chassis or keyboard ; One of the brightest and sharpest screens I've ever seen ; Nice webcam ; Sexy styling

A bit thick like the XPS M1210 ; Gets pretty warm, but not hot ; Battery life

Asus is certainly becoming a major brand in North American markets. Their notebooks combine build quality, looks, and performance at a reasonable price. The W7j is no exception, the screen is one of the brightest and sharpest I've ever seen on a...

Asus W7J Review (pics, specs)

The Asus W7J is a 13.3" widescreen notebook equipped with the Core Duo processor and an Nvidia 7400 graphics card. It's a portable machine weighing about 4.2lbs and directly competes with the Sony VAIO SZ.

Asus W7J 13.3 inch Portable Core Duo Notebook Review

I often hear comments from friends and forum users stating that a laptop with a 12" screen is too small for them either because the screen resolution is too fine or that the keyboard is too cramped. To those people I say this: listen up! Today we are...

Consumer review (shopping.com)

Good laptop, but overpriced.

This is a wonderful laptop, but they're asking you to pay a lot more than they should be. This laptop is going to be outdated soon, but they are charging that much anyway.

Easy To Use, Great Design

Overpriced

OK

It looks great, it feels great . What else could you want ? It has a built in micraphone and webcam so you can video call your friends, family and colleages without buying any add-on micraphones or cameras.

It has a nice look to it . Has an built in camera so you don't have to buy a webcam. It has built in wireless so you can connect to your router for wireless internet. Duo processor for fast browsing files and such.

The keys looks a bit squashed together so people with fat fingers would find it hard to type with ease.
