Took delivery of this today and gave it about an hour on Billy Microsofts bugfest...just out of curiosity you understand ;) which just cemented my dislike of the OS..

My dad's laptop recently gave up the ghost so he asked me to look for a new one for him. Did a bit of research and trawled the net looking for the best machine for his budget.

Build quality is good, it feels solid, and the finish on the plastic is good, the keyboard is also good quality, I can't really comment on the trackpad as I don't use it (I got I wireless mouse with it).

This laptop is amazing for the price, best investment I've made in a long time. I have a high-rig PC but because of situations I need a laptop as well.
