ASUS X54H-SX270V, you're making the correct choice

 

Fantastic laptop - the Intel i3 Dual Core CPU is benchmarked just behind some Intel i7's and a whole lot faster than the standard Intel i5 - The 2nd gen i3-2310 Model CPU is a fantastic addition to this laptop. I haven't looked for the additional RAM...

hdmi + usb 3.0, build quality + it's silent, graphics + processor

bundled with some bloatware easily uninstalled., battery life could be better but 3 hours is fine
