Asus Zenbook UX330UA Notebook Review

Elegant long-runner. The new Zenbook by Asus inherits the best qualities of the series, such as a superb casing and low weight. Apart from the somewhat mediocre input devices, it does not present many shortcomings especially not in the fantastic...

many configurations available, light and thin, elegant and robust casing, very good though not perfect build, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1, ergonomically positioned ports, very good WiFi performance, very bright and enormously high-contrast screen, good...

limited connectivity, sluggish SD card reader, no Ethernet, PWM, no maintenance hatch, torx screws, battery cannot be removed from the outside, mediocre touchpad, SSD could be faster

Although the new Asus Zenbook UX360UA-FC059T, that was priced at approximately 1100 Euros (~$1207) at test time, does not scrape the 90 percent mark, it is again a laptop that the writer would like to call his own.

Asus Zenbook UX330UA

The $699 Asus ZenBook UX330UA is one of the best laptop values you can get: It packs a speedy 256GB solid-state drive, a fast Core i5 CPU and a sharp, 1080p screen into a 2.7-pound package. To get a notebook with similar features at that size, you...

ASUS ZenBook UX330UA review: Excellent value for money in a familiar design

ASUS probably won't appreciate the inevitable comparison with Apple's MacBook Air , but the similarities between its new ZenBook UX330UA and Apple's veteran ultraportable are hard to avoid. In fact, they're really quite blatant. However, the ZenBook...

Slim, lightweight, ultraportable design ; High-quality, high-resolution screen ; Core i7 processor delivers desktop-level performance

Average battery life ; Few build-to-order options

Asus ZenBook UX330UA

The ZenBook UX330UA is Asus' latest entry into the premium laptop market, and with this 13.3-inch machine, the company is taking on the likes of the Dell XPS 13, MacBook Air and HP Spectre.

Asus ZenBook UX330UA review: The Windows equivalent of the MacBook Air

With its superb display, excellent build quality and fast performance, the ZenBook UX330UA is a great Windows alternative to the MacBook Air

Wonderfully slim and light ; Comfortable to use keyboard ; Great display

Middling performance

The UX330UA is also around £50 cheaper than the equivalent Dell specification, making it better value if you’re looking to save a bit of money. For me, the XPS 13’s longer-lasting battery makes it worth the extra investment, but Asus has still done a...

Asus ZenBook UX330UA review: the best-value ultrabook you'll see this year

An ultraportable that delivers performance and quality in a slim, attractive package

Thin, light chassis; Fast performance; High-resolution screen; Excellent value

Loaded with bloatware; Build quality and materials could be better; Trackpad is disappointing

If you can get past the slightly iffy materials and build quality, the Asus Zenbook UX330UA is one of the most cost-effective ultrabooks around. With an i7 processor, a QHD+ screen and a sub-£800 pricetag, it easily undercuts its competition.

Asus ZenBook (UX330UA)

Thin, light and ultra portable, the ZenBook (UX330UA) from Asus is a great option for anyone in the market for an all-round notebook.

Simple and clean design; Great battery life; Lightweight and portable; Solid processor performance

Keyboard and trackpad a tad erratic

The ZenBook has many enviable traits, with its lightweight design, simple aesthetics and long lasting battery being the standouts. There is some give and take, however, with the keyboard and trackpad proving under par from the rest of the notebook. It...
