Review Samsung Series 3 300E7A Notebook

A dreamer. Gaming for 469 Euro ( $620)? No, we are not testing an Xbox bundle. It is a 17-inch Office laptop featuring an entry-level graphics unit. Will gaming ambitions be curtailed by the Pentium processor? The details can be found in this review.

Useful battery runtimes, Matte, bright screen, Quiet operation, Silent Mode, Good input devices, Matte screen, adequate input devices and extremely quiet by just pushing a button

Nvidia's GPU unsuitable for gaming, Pliable chassis, No USB 3.0, Poor maintainability, The HD 7670M is better suited for customers with gaming ambitions. USB 3.0 is unfortunately not installed

Good size screen, decent graphics, easy setup, more responsive than my home cpu, which this laptop will replace

No major bad points, although the battery life could be better & it's not the lightest laptop on the market

Am only using the laptop a week but so far I am very happy with all the features. The reason I chose it was due to the very good reviews even though I initially wanted a smaller laptop. The Samsung is very light for its size, great to have the number...

So far nothing to report (I am still not sure if I wouldn't prefer a smaller laptop but that's just my personal taste)

Inexpensive with a reasonable processor

Cheap build quality with a flimsy lid and poor screen quality. Will do the job but overall an underwhelming purchase

17" screens are getting harder to come by and this one is good value for money. It offers a good solid standard of power and performance. And the best bit is it doesn't have an annoying shiny screen

Is a little bit more plasticy than the smaller 15" version that I also have. The overall build quality is a bit flimsy

Well built machine with robust keyboard and keypad. Fast to boot, responsive to applcation start ; Set very easy, with minimum of 'bloatware' to be deleted

Not necessarily a bad point but another usb socket (there are 3)would have helped
