Alienware 14 (Core i7, 16GB, 256GB SSD, Nvidia GTX765M)

Some laptops have loud fans that kick in when performing high-end tasks that drive the CPU or GPU. Other laptops, such as the new Alienware 14, have fans so distractingly loud that you practically have to put on headphones (and crank them up) to escape...

Dell's new Alienware 14 offers great performance, competitive prices, and quirky features such as a backlit touch pad.

The new design still feels dated, and it's as thick as a few slim laptops stacked together. The fan is insanely loud.

Dell has revamped its gaming line, including the new Alienware 14. The design changes don't go nearly far enough, but no complaints about the performance.

"Best 14 inch Gaming Laptop"

I bought the model that comes with an intel core i7 4700MQ , Nvidia geforce gtx 765m 2GB and 8GB RAM...The Laptop took everything i threw at it with high graphics and no lagging...it took Assassin's Creed IV with almost max graphics and it didnt slow...

Great Performance , Excellent Screen Resolution (1080p) , Unique Design

Bit Heavy , Fans Kinda Loud

"Excellent laptop gaming and daily laptop."

I bought this as an upgrade to my old M11X R1. I still use the M11x on a daily basis, but less and less, as I get accustomed to the 14.

Excellent build quality; great keyboard; high resolution screen (1920 x 1080); Alienware still offers Windows 7

Heavy; so-so battery life; right side of keyboard runs hot; noisy fan.

"BEST PERFORMANCE FROM A LAPTOP I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!"

I bought this machine as a replacement to an

Customizable lighting, excellent keyboard, raid compatible, excellent use of material, speakers are loud enough to hear dialogue, very good ventilation. Excellent spacing of usb ports. Very easy access to al of the machines inner parts.

Pretty heavy for a 14" and the bottom plate that your remove to access all of the inner components is not as easy to slide off as it should be. I only wish it had a video input.
