Update: 03-2010 A major problem with "oem" brand name laptops and desktops is the use of "SysPrep" - a microsoft tool that allows windows to be installed and all the programs then a reseller "syspreps" it and adds a whole bunch of drivers and now this...

One of my customers bought this laptop about 2.5 yrs ago. It has xp home and the software was loaded with crapware trailware etc. Even when I activated it the software was buggy. Probably because of all the junk loaded on it by hp/compaq. \n...
