Good Entry Level Dedicated Graphics Laptop

Although it has it's shortcomings, I probably would buy again since the price was right and it was still an upgrade compared to what my daughter was using before.

Great entry level laptop with dedicated graphics for games like Minecraft.

Received with a dead pixel. Touch-pad is awful. I am not a fan of the cheap feeling plastic lid. Slow to boot. I have to hold power button down for 5 secs then press and release before it registers that it needs to turn on. Slow when surfing the web.

Good entry level laptop

I bought this laptop because my ACER that I loved just suddenly went haywire after 5 years. I am a casual gamer on my laptop, play some older RTS games and use common applications like iTunes and MS Office and always have Steam running. I didn't want...

Low price Intel Core processor GeForce 2 GB video card Good sound card Runs fast if you know how to tune it Good value Has Windows 10

Only a 1.7 GHz processor speed Comes with only 4 GB memory

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas.

I do not recommend.

Nothing stands out.

Constant issue with the WiFi. Uninstalling then reinstalling the driver doesn't work anymore.

Not bad for a budget laptop

Windows 10 a pro and a con. I still prefer 7 but 10 is growing on me. Be sure to rid the machine of bloatware and find a decent guide on the web to tweak the settings. Windows 10 can be very intrusive if not set up properly.

I3 processor. 4gb memory. Dedicated 2gb video card. 500gb HDD. Screen is nice and bright and viewing angle isn't too bad. I have seen much worse. Build quality is ok.

The back of the screen appears to be metal but isn't. This won't be much of an issue to you if it's spends its time in one spot... BUT if plan on toting it around buy a very well padded laptop bag. If you flex the lid you can see your fingers easily on...

Quick, simple, and cheap

Has everything one would need for a really cheap laptop and overall it runs smoothly with 0 complaints. No bugs, fast, 5 hour battery life (under best circumstances on average I get 3-4)

The screen is just about the only one,

Convenience

A 5th gen i3 would really take the cake, but also raise the price. As it is, this is already a lot of bang for your buck. For around $500 with upgrades, you can turn this into a really nice general purpose laptop that can even run some less hardware...

Low price 4th gen i3 processor with hyperthreading Dedicated NVIDIA graphics card with 2GB of DDR3 Screen is nice and bright, not washed out Touchpad and keyboard are actually usable (also has a keypad) Battery is easily removable without tools Hard...

Not a 5th gen i3 or i5 processor (acceptable for the price) Not a 900 series NVIDIA card (also acceptable for the price) Hard Disk is not solid state (I swapped it out for a 250GB Samsung 850 evo SSD) RAM is only 4GB and only one DIMM slot is available...

Decent system if you're on a shoestring budget.

I would recommend this laptop for children or as a secondary laptop for travel when you don't need your primary driver.

- Nvidia graphics @ $350 price point. While entry level it still runs circles around the integrated Intel graphics. - i3 processor is peppy and more than capable for all but the most demanding of activities. - Number pad on the keyboard. - All around a...

Keep in mind these "cons" are perfectly acceptable and expected for a laptop in the price point. - 5400 RPM drive is *slow*. - 4 GB of RAM is the minimum acceptable amount of memory for a useful computer. - Only 1 memory slot. - The screen is a low...

You have let me down Dell.

I do not recommend buying this laptop unless you have a good amount of knowledge on how to fix WiFi issues.

The laptop feels nice and looks clean.

The WiFi adapter fails constantly with no logical way to fix it. I have been trying for over 4 hours now to find out why this is failing and nothing seems to work. The WiFi comes on fine when you first boot up the computer but then it just stops...

Bad Choice. Bought two of them and saved money. Now thinking of sending both back.

Looks Nice.

Windows 10 operating system really slow. Wifi stops working on it's own. Called Dell support and was told to UN-install the driver and reinstall. That didn't work. On the verge of sending them back. Terrible machines. Super slow.

Bad Dell Support Experience

Dell support is terrible! I think this will be the last Dell product I purchase. Trying to get Newegg phone support seems near impossible. Wait times are greater than 1 hour. And the chat feature is down.

Decent entry level computer for very low price.

Terrible support experience. I tried to order recovery disks from Dell. They would not send recovery disks, even though the product is under Dell warranty, because the product is registered under some dealer other than Newegg. The problem is... I...
