Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 Black Edition review

Dell's Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 Black Edition is aimed directly at laptop buyers who would love an XPS 13 2-in-1 but don't have the budget. It looks to offer a build quality, aesthetic, performance, and configuration that rivals the best at a...

Great productivity performance ; Nice 4K display ; Surprisingly good battery life ; Solid build quality ; Handy pen holder

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (late 2017) review

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 can burn rubber on a budget.

Excellent performance ; Real value for the money ; Good build quality ; Colorful display

Poor battery life ; Touchpad is unpleasant to use ; SSD could be quicker

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 is a nicely refined machine that provides excellent performance, a very good display, and solid quality for the money. The touchpad is unpleasant to use, however, and the poor battery life is a real downer that reduces...

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 SE 2-in-1 review

The Inspiron 7000 13 SE achieves performance dominance and boasts a beautiful 1080p display, but it can't solve the problems inherent to foldable 2-in-1s.

Dell’s XPS 13 offers an easy benchmark, since it’s made by the same company. That system, which starts at $799, can be similarly equipped for $999 – the same price as our Inspiron review unit. There’s no doubt the XPS is the better notebook. It’s...

Dell’s Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 is slick but needs more juice

It's fast, has a terrific keyboard and touchpad and a bunch of nifty features. The battery life is a real shame, though.

Dell's Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 is a speed machine thanks to Intel's new 8th gen processors, and it has a super comfortable touchpad and keyboard combo. Plus, facial recognition.

The battery life is a couple hours short of average, and its touchscreen is a touch too reflective.

It's not quite as sweet a deal as last year's model was, but the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 is still one of the best sub-$999 laptop options out there.

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Special Edition: It's a great laptop, but not a true 2-in-1

Dell may call the Inspiron 13 7000 Special Edition a 2-in-1, but 3.7 pounds is hefty for something that's tablet-shaped some of the time. Better to focus on what it does do well, which is pretty much everything else.

Two things about the Special Edition annoyed me. The touchpad was especially sensitive to taps--so much so, that I disabled the feature. Some might like the heightened level of sensitivity but not me.

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (7352)

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (7352) has premium features, like a fifth-generation Core i7 processor, sharp In-Plane Switching (IPS) screen, and an aluminum palm rest, which help the system stand out in an increasingly crowded...

Sharp detail from IPS screen. Speedy Core i7 processor and solid-state drive (SSD). Minimal bloatware.

A little bulky as a tablet. USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports are the same color.

Conclusion The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (7352) is a speedy convertible-hybrid laptop that gives you easier access to the touch screen than a traditional laptop. It's well made, attractive, and has a sharp display. That said,...

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 is a well-built, 13-inch convertible-hybrid laptop that delivers solid all-around performance and features a crisp In-Plane Switching (IPS) display.

Sharp IPS touch-screen display. Good performance. Sturdy construction.

Slightly heavy as a tablet. Tinny speakers.

Conclusion The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (7352) is a speedy convertible-hybrid laptop that gives you easier access to the touch screen than a traditional laptop. It's well made, attractive, and has a sharp display. That said,...
