Dell Inspiron 4150

Value-priced Inspiron 4150 offers sensible design and average performance.

With its dual pointing devices and modular bay, the Inspiron 4150 would fit well in small to medium-size companies.

CPU fans run contantly hot and fail prematurely. This causes the system to run at a snails pace. Dell support was beyond horrible and passed buck from one department to the next.

Dell Inspiron 4150 (Pentium 4-M 1.9GHz, 256MB RAM)

The Inspiron 4150 offers a lot of power for the size and weight, and is good for travelers who need a machine with a built-in optical bay and a degree of portability.

Fast performance ; bright, high-resolution screen ; fast graphics for 3D gaming ; modular bay

On the thick and heavy side for a thin-and-light

After putting this computer through 3 yrs of work, it has been steady but not fault free. The fan runs constantly and I don't know why (no CPU processes that I see). The letters rub off the keyboard, which feels cheap. The USB port is horribly...
