pretty nice

6 gigs of ram, 600gb hd, core i5, and hdmi. thats all that i looked for when looking for a laptop, also around $500. I have just started making it the way i like but i already like the speed and the feel of the keyboard

there are some scratches on the wristplate, and a stress bubble right above the 'n' in inspiron. that stuff doesnt bother me however. i used to have a lenovo and i really miss the trackpoint, but that again isnt their fault. the battery i am afraid is...

So far so good

It's got a 4gig and a 2gig stick of RAM underneath. I think it'll take 8 so I'm picking up a 4gig stick (25 bucks or so) just to max this thing out. Might need it when I get a VM running on here.

Everything arrived in great shape ; Speakers are nice and loud

Standard Dell bloatware (McAfee too), but at least it was minimal and easy to remove ; Wish there was more info on Dell's website about picking up parts to upgrade (I'd like to find a used BluRay drive and possibly mod this thing with a backlit keyboard)
