Dell Inspiron 15 (M5030)

For about the same price as a netbook, the Inspiron 15 delivers a larger screen and plenty of oomph for basic computing.

Though the Inspiron 15 M5030 didn't shine in our benchmarks, we still found it adequate for everyday computing chores such as surfing the web, updating Facebook, and playing casual games. It's not often that a 15-inch notebook is priced as low as $350...

Dell Inspiron IM5030-874B3D

Laptops don't come much more inexpensive than the Dell Inspiron IM5030-874B3D, but many of them come better equipped.

Low price. Attractive design. Large screen.

Below-average performance. No HDMI port.

Dell Inspiron IM5030-3413B3D

Other than a tough-to-beat price tag, little stands out about the Dell Inspiron IM5030-3413B3D laptop.

Inexpensive desktop replacement. Bright, crisp display. Customizable, multitouch-gesture touchpad. No bloatware.

Hulking frame. Poor application performance. Disappointing battery life. Bulky. No HDMI port.

Absolute garbage

This is by far the worst laptop I've ever owned. Received it as a gift for christmas from a relative and from the moment I opened it in 2010 it was awful.

None at all

Built extremely cheap and flimsy, terribly slow and laggy

Fried Motherboard

The first one of these I received was DOA, and Newegg was an absolute doll in having it replaced within a week. However, they sent me a "new" laptop that had already had it's service tags registered somewhere in the Middle East. When I called Dell,...

Not a bad size, battery life, or interface

First copy was DOA ; Replacement had a dead wireless card that Dell thankfully covered under warranty. Served well for light internet use for awhile ; After 2.5 years, the motherboard up and died. Dell Support won't talk to me (due to the expired...

Touch Pad Frozen Not Working

Nothing out of the ordinary

Has a recurring problem with the touch pad locking up and making the laptop worthless. First time, Dell was helpful in fixing the problem as it was within the warranty, but now my laptop is just a few older than a tyear and they want to charge a...

Good for price

I obtained this from a friend that isn't very tech savy. All I know is that within a month or so the HDD went bad. Not sure if he dropped it or if it was simply a bad Harddrive. Anyway I got it off of him for $50.00 and simply threw in another HDD, and...
