Dell Latitude D830 User Review

The Latitude series of laptops is part of Dell's business line. As business machines, they are more focused on reliability, durability and subtlety (whereas the more consumer-oriented Inspirons tout more powerful media-centric features such as a...

Dell Latitude D830 Review

A few of my friends own older Thinkpad models and have nothing but praise for them. Indeed, Lenovo is known for superior build quality though typically at a price. By all means the T60 is a beautiful machine, but I was put off by a couple of small...

Solid construction ; Visually appealing ; Discrete graphics ; Good performance ; Can ship with XP ; Cool and quiet

Not a thin-and-light ; Relatively expensive ; Port selection could still be better ; Light Leakage

In the days after I placed my order I spent much time questioning whether or not I had made the right choice. I anxiously awaited the arrival of my new piece of hardware, checking my order status religiously and wondering when it would ship. When it...

Order a restraining order. Seriously. Stay away.

Stay far, far away.

I liked how Dell sent me three replacements after my whole inside pieces melted down

How do I explain what I hate about this laptop? First, my school MADE us purchase this computer. Second, I've been through six motehrboards within 2 1/2 years. Third, trying to talk to Dell is like talking to a wall. Nobody believes a word you say

Annoying headphone beep will hurt your ears.

It is a nice laptop and has performed well but the annoying beep when changing the control panel volume is causing hearing loss.

Large Screen

Hearing Loss with headphone jack: When I click to change the system volume a max volume beep erupts. This beep is loud enough to cause hearing loss. My technical support at work say it is not their problem. The loud beep happens even when muted
