Review Dell Latitude E6400 Notebook

Mobile Office.Security, mobility and reliance. Those are the

Compact, solid case; Good workmanship and high-quality Haptik; Extensive connection options; Extensive security and communication features; Bright, outdoor suitable display; Passable heat and loudness emissions in idle/office use; Very good battery...

Touchpad keys need getting used to; Average contrast and viewing angle stability of the display

Due to the justifiable price and the warranty time with a minimum of 3 years the notebook comes in question for private as well as business clients.

Dell Latitude E6400 Review

Unlike the previous generation of Dell Latitude noteboks that featured rounded edges and curves, the Dell Latitude E-series features "down to business" industrial design. The chassis is entirely made of magnesium alloy with plenty of 90-degree edges...

Very tough structure and rugged overall chassis design ; Excellent selection of ports and fantastic docking station ; Excellent battery life ... particularly with extra battery slice ; Solid performance ; Remains very cool where your body comes into...

Industrial design (although cool) looks a little "unfinished ; Build quality is durable, but alloy chassis feels thin in some spots ; ControlPoint software can be frustrating ; Trackpoint/touchpoint is better than the one on the D630, but still not great

Overall, corporate clients who are looking for the next generation of business notebooks from Dell have plenty of reasons to buy the E6400. Dell made every effort to improve the Latitude family, and the E6400 is a great 14-inch business notebook. That...

Dell Latitude E6400 Review

Priced at $1,463, the Dell Latitude E6400 is a durable and secure notebook that offers snappy performance and plenty of endurance. And thanks to Dell's redesign, this is one sleek business notebook you'll want to be seen carrying. Power users will want...

Top-notch security and durability, Eye-catching design, Long endurance with nine-cell battery, Can charge gadgets via USB with system off, Intuitive ControlPoint software

Dell Latitude E6400

The E6400's 14-inch widescreen is as bright as the 14-inch screens on the T400 and the 6930p. And it's matte, too, so you don't get the glare coming from the glossy ones found on consumer laptops. The 1,440-by-900 resolution is the same as you find on...

Trendy brushed-aluminum look. Excellent battery life. Many configuration options. Anti-glare screen. Largest battery on a business laptop. First-rate keyboard and mouse buttons

Palm rests could have used the lid's design treatment. Real aluminum metals would have been more rugged

The E6400 is a major upgrade from the previous D630. Dell has finally added an SD slot, has incorporated a trendier design, and continues to offer its wide selection of configurations and parts.

Semi-rugged laptop for professionals.

The ATG should satisfy users who are after a well-performing, semi-rugged notebook, but more demanding users who are looking for a unit to use in a very dusty area might want something that has dust-protected ports and slots as well.

Semi-rugged design, touch screen, backlit keyboard, solid-state drive, dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, ambient light sensor

Ports aren't dust-proof, no ExpressCard slot, touchpad can't be disabled by a Fn key combination

Style and speed.

This notebook ticks pretty much every box: style, speed, connectivity (including Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and 802.11a/g/n Wi-Fi) and usability. It packs in plenty of business-friendly features, including a smartcard reader and a fingerprint scanner....

Performance, usability, looks great, excellent screen, chock-full of cool features

Heats up, no ExpressCard slot, may inspire insane jealousy among others
