Dell E6500 - not bad but could use more power ”

My company provided this laptop to me and I have been using it for about 1.5 years now.  As per today's standards, the Intel Core 2 Duo processor doesn't quite hold up to the New Core i5 and i7 lappys out there.  But even now, this laptop can still...

Great Laptop ”

I got this laptop brand new and haven't had any problems in the last 2 years. It's not too heavy which makes transporting it easy. The screen is good and clear. I haven't had to spend much on upkeep, it doesn't accumulate dust.

Its okay, if you didn't buy it!

Its okay, if you didn't buy it!

My biggest complaint with this thing is the touch pad/mouse drivers. I have never before used a computer (laptop or desktop) where a moderate load on the cpu would bog down the mouse response time. It is very annoying! I stopped my work just so I could...

Failure right out of the box....

I know these things happen, but my recently purchased e6500, which I purchased because of the great success with a very hearty d620, failed within two hours out of the box. Online techs diagnosed it as motherboard failure. I assume (and hope) this is a...
