Great Laptop !

I bought a latitude E6430S second hand about 3 months ago. It is simply the best laptop I ever had. Very fast and reliable. Plays very well HDMI movies. Excellent customer service.

Not a life long partner, but OK for price

Had this laptop for almost 3 years but Keyboard has started having problems despite the fact that it has been in Docking station most of the time and not used it's keyboard much. Battery life has reduced to 1 hour in this period. Laptop comes with what...

Very solid and sleek PC!

Used this laptop for 2 years as company supplied for work. Go everywhere with me. Unlike latest model, E6420, this previous generation model is very solid and good in design. Typing is easy with good keyboard. Performance is not far from work...

Design, reliability

Great professional laptop

I got a Dell Latitude E6400 about 2 years ago through my work, and I am very happy with this laptop. It is lightweight, compact, and doesn't cause any trouble! Only problem is that the battery only lasts for a bit more than an hour after using it for 2...

Dell Latitude D800

I used to used a Dell Latitude D800 for everyday office work; word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc. Never had any problems running the software or the OS, which I think was Windows XP Pro, even though the processor was only a 1.8GHz mobile...

Light weight, reasonably quick performer, cheap buy second hand.

Plastic case is not very strong, keyboard and screen are a bit cramped.

Good

Great laptop. Good lightwieght, nice keyboard, I recommend this computer, it was a good purchase. The case is easy to keep clean and does not over heat when left on. The speakers are not that great but given there small size they are better than most....

Small case, nice clear crisp screen, good battery life with a quick recharge, nice keyboard with good quick keys - broad key tops for fat fingers, two mice, lots of inputs.

Sometimes a bit slow but maybe I have too many programs.

Good

Very happy with this overall, I actually bought a second hand one from work to use on the train for Uni assignments, web surfing, etc, but I'm actually thinking of getting another one to use as a main home laptop.

Great size - easy to use on the train. Starts up, shuts down and hibernates really quickly (far quicker than my Dell Inspiron)

The internal speaker is tiny and tinny. Headphones or external speakers are a must. Also, the headphone jack is at the back of the laptop, not very convenient if you have short leads on your headphones. External DVD isn't great, but that's the price...

(model:Dell Latitude D410) with all the current netbooks out for $400+ which the only advantage i can see they have are increased HDD. The D410 is a small nippy 12" laptop for around $250 off ebay, it has around 4 hours battery life on the standard...

Lightweight Fast enough for business/school use base station has room for a second battery Damn good battery life small and fits nearly anywhere you want it to go

smaller hard drive (40Gb model) chunky external base lowsy single internal speaker

Good

Great lightweight, solid, business laptop. Specs on this one are 160gb HDD, 4GB RAM, NVS135 graphics. Handles multiple VM images running on XP, 3d games to a reasonable (not best graphics) level. Audio capability is OK, but having headphones/speakers...

Latitude D630: Battery life up to 3hrs Cool under normal running High Res Screen (Maybe an upgrade option on certain models) Build quality feels 'solid'.

Hot when using 3d extensively Touchpad software from Dell doesn't support 'tap zones' without installing 3rd party driver Software based volume buttons (prefer analogue dial)
