Dell Latitude Z600

You read car magazines for reviews of wheels you want to buy--and of the odd machine that you'd never be able to afford in a million years but can admire from afar. That's the Dell Latitude Z600 ultraslim laptop. Wait--a "sexy" Dell Latitude? It's...

Gorgeous 1600 by 900 pixel screen ; Innovative wireless and touch-sensor features

It's thin, but the awkward size is hard to stow ; Expensive peripherals

Dell's created a fantastic future-forward bit of tech that's great for the status-seeking businessman. Everyone else: Look on from afar.

Dell Latitude Z600 review

A great business laptop with an impressive software suite

Good office performance ; Connectivity ; Nice keyboard and screen ; Business oriented software

3D performance ; No ODD ; Price

A solid machine for business users but we cant help feel the performance on offer for the money is not the best value around. Having said that, it is a very well featured laptop

Dell Latitude Z600 review

First observation: The Dell Latitude Z600 is wide and way thin. We're talking a laptop with a 16-inch screen and only 14.5mm thick (and weighs about 2kg with the standard 4-cell battery).

Bottom line, the Dell Latitude Z600 is very much not for everyone. In fact, we think they made this notebook just to sell it to Michael Dell and maybe a couple of his showboating buddies. But it boasts design smarts and a couple of tech innovations...

Dell - Latitude Z600

Dell's Latitude Z is quite an amazing notebook, not only because of its headline price, but because of the range of features it packs and its somewhat quirky physical design. Let's start with that latter point. ...

The Dell Latitude Z600 is a likeable notebook. Big screen, great keyboard, lots of software goodies, nice hardware design. It is very expensive, though.

Dell Latitude Z600

The Latitude Z600 is by all means a stunning laptop. It looks as slim and sexy as the Dell Adamo, packs a 128GB SSD hard drive, 4GB RAM, integrated Bluetooth, WiFi, webcam and a host of business orientated software.

A gorgeous 16:9 aspect ratio screen with some great touch sensor features make this a high-end laptop to make the boss jealous

It is expensive and the 3D performance is poor

This is a very future proof laptop that is perfect for the business person but otherwise to expensive and rather awkward to stow. If it packed a bit more in the graphics department, it would've been a sure-fire hit.

Dell Latitude Z600

Love the size, weight and design. Performance is good for a machine with an older CPU. SSD snappy and memory is sufficient for executive use.

No drivers for Win7 64bit but can get everything running except the edge touch feature.
