Dell Precision 3530

Dell's entry-level mobile workstation, the Precision 3530, is a powerful and configurable choice, but it's priced only a smidge below the trimmer and lighter Editors' Choice Precision 5530.

Rampaging six-core Xeon horsepower. Satisfying screen and keyboard. ECC DRAM available.

No 4K display option. Noisy fan. Only fair battery life. Just one Thunderbolt 3 port.

Bottom Line: Dell's entry-level mobile workstation, the Precision 3530, is a powerful and configurable choice, but it's priced only a smidge below the trimmer and lighter Editors' Choice Precision 5530.
