Dell Precision M6400

This mobile workstation is a beast. Lots of computing power with portability.

Expert review by : Elias Plastiras (goodgearguide.com.au)

Dell Precision M6400

Power to go.

Solidly built, plenty of processing power, room for up to 16GB of RAM, comfortable to use, dual-mode wireless networking, ExpressCard and PC Card slots

Fingerprint reader isn't standard, modular bay doesn't have a second battery option

For users who run engineering, design or animation programs, this mobile workstation is a worthwhile choice. It's very fast, and the best part is you won't be shackled to your desk and will be able to use the same machine either at home or in the office.

Dell portable workstation is more powerful and more expensive than you can possible imagine

Massive graphics application performance ; Unrivalled screen quality ; Speedy processor and memory ; High quality build

Astronomical price

A high-end workstation with an incredible specification and a price to match

Dell Precision M6400 Covet review

Delivering a workstation in a mobile form in no easy task, but the Dell Precision M6400 is a near perfect example of how to do it right.

Beautifully built, incredibly fast and stuffed with features, the Dell Precision M6400 Covet is a real thoroughbred among workstation laptops. If you’re after a serious mobile workstation, then this has to be top of your shortlist.

Dell Precision Workstation M6400

If you don't care about weight, this is what a laptop should be

If you're after a desktop replacement machine, you could certainly do worse than the Precision workstation, and we have no hesitation in recommending it for business users wanting a laptop with the lot.

Dell Precision E6400 14" Widescreen

The description listed for this laptop is erroneous. The Dell Latitude E6400 has a 14" screen. The Dell Precision M6400 has a 17" screen. I can understand your frustration in expecting to receive a E6400 and getting a M6400 instead. I purchased a M6400...

Dell Precision Workstation M6400 Laptop

I've been using the Dell Precision M90 for 3 years. Loved it. The M6400 with Extreme Intel proc. absolutely smokes the competition. In my book Dell makes the best hardware for the price. The M6400 laptop totally ROCKS! It took a month to get it, but I...
