Review Dell Vostro V13 Notebook

Attractive but weak. The V13 is one of Dell's Vostro range of sma ...

Very quiet ; Very cool ; Very slim ; Excellent workmanship ; High-quality case material ; Well equipped ; Good price-to-performance ratio ; Matt display ; Extensive warranty and support options ; Good all-round portability

System performance is only satisfactory ; Limited potential for upgrades ; Built-in battery ; Expensive to replace battery ; Battery life is only average

That a case this slender can be so robust

Hands-On: Dell Vostro V13 Notebook

Aluminum for Everyone. After the hyped-up netbook a slow trend to ULV-laptops is recognizable. These can be characterized by slim case, low weight, and special CPUs which allow the battery life to keep up with netbooks. Dell now launches the V13 which...

In particular users who want to use the laptop on-the-move and, so, cannot pay much attention to ambient light, will profit from this feature. Reflections and mirror effects are refracted and diffracted by the matte surface and, so, less disruptive....

Dell Vostro V13 review

What if we told you there was a way to have the svelteness and power of Dell's $1,500 Adamo for less than half the price? You'd be interested, right? That's exactly why we've been trying to get a Dell Vostro V13 in-hand since its launch a few months...

Sturdy aluminum build ; Only .65-inches thick ; Matte screen

Gets pricey when configured with faster CPU ; Only three hours of battery life ; No removable battery

Dell Vostro V13 Review - A Review of the Dell Vostro V13

Stylish brushed aluminum design, Less than an inch thin, Loud speakers

Short battery life, Expensive, Loud keyboard

Good features bad battery

The battery was discharged during normal use and did not work anymore. Perhaps for lack of use. Apparently there is no replacement for this battery. If you use the computer on the grid all time, this computer is for you, it has good features. If not,...

Best laptop to date

By far a perfect laptop for what I needed. Web, Office and mobile - thin, good looking and power behind it.

Great alternative for a netbook

I bought one of these used (this model is no longer available from Dell), and I like it a lot. Let me point out right away though it's one bad point: short battery life. 3 - 4 hours for web surfing etc. Less for more demanding tasks like playing video....
