Dell XPS 11 Review

Dell's sleek, carbon fiber-clad XPS 11 is a hybrid convertible laptop that attempts to marry the best of a powerful Ultrabook and a performance tablet in a slim package. Rather than start with a tablet and then add a keyboard dock like in Asus'...

Dell XPS 11 User Review

Take another look at what makes the Dell XPS 11 so appealing and find out if that notorious keyboard is better than we thought.

Small, thin, and light ; Excellent screen with a high resolution ; Touch enabled display works well ; Excellent specifications for an 11 ; Good Battery Life ; Runs very cool

Only two USB ports ; Sound rocker not very useful ; Keyboard takes getting used to

At the end of the day, the Dell XPS 11 left me with a positive experience, I wanted to continue using the laptop and was left feeling confident that the XPS 11 had enough computing power to meet my needs.

Dell XPS 11 Review: Flexible or Flailing?

A sleek laptop/tablet 2-in-1, the Dell XPS 11 provides solid connectivity and a generally good Windows experience in all modes, but suffers from a terrible keyboard and a bit too high a price.

Hinge design ; Good battery life ; Portable ; Sharp screen

Awful keyboard ; Shaky in tent and stand modes ; Runs hot ; Pricey

253 ppi, 2,560-by-1,440-resolution screen. HDMI port. Very thin and light. Premium build

Uncomfortable, quirky membrane keyboard. Middling battery performance

The Dell XPS 11 convertible ultrabook/tablet comes with an incredibly high-resolution screen and a lovely carbon fiber chassis, but a couple of large flaws keep it from outrunning the pack.

Dell XPS 11 ( Fall 2013)

The new Dell XPS 11 hybrid shows that Dell is still capable of swinging for the fences, and putting out a laptop that looks and feels like a true premium product. The XPS 11 is an 11-inch superslim laptop, but it's also a hybrid that converts to tablet...

The Dell XPS 11 is a slim, light hybrid that looks and feels great, and offers decent performance and battery life.

The touch-style keyboard, lacking actual keys, is an experiment that just doesn't pan out.

Attempting to out-Yoga the Yoga, Dell's flip-screen XPS 11 has a great design, but isn't as practical as other hybrids for actually getting work done thanks to a frustrating keyboard.

Dell XPS 11 Review

The Dell XPS 11 is an attractive, flexible hybrid with solid performance, but the uncomfortable flat keyboard is a deal breaker.

Sleek, versatile design; Comfortable soft-touch deck; Sharp QHD screen; Strong battery life; Solid performance

Flat keyboard is uncomfortable; Heavy as a tablet; Awkward power button placement

The Dell XPS 11 is an attractive, flexible hybrid with solid performance, but the uncomfortable flat keyboard is a deal breaker.

Review: Dell XPS 11 Ultrabook A Mixed Bag

Dell's convertible Ultrabook serves all purposes well, but suffers from mediocre performance and battery life unbecoming of Haswell.

Well-built and attractive, Light and comfortable to hold and use, Converts to tablet mode, High-res display with stylus support, Decent speakers and cameras, Low bloatware load

Flat, capacitive keyboard not conducive to touch typing, Stylus not included

Granted, this two-in-one is not for everybody. Overall, though, we found the XPS 11 not only very easy to carry around with us, but not all that difficult to use. We've seen reviews slamming the unit's awful keyboard, but we think they gave up too...
