Dell XPS 13 Non-Touch Core i5, 4GB, 128GB

We said at the time that this was a system that moved the needle on laptop design, taking a cue from the past few generations of television design, where screen bezels have already been squeezed to nearly nothing. Dell called it the infinity display...

Dell's revamped XPS 13 has a nearly borderless display, a very small body for a 13-inch laptop and the latest Intel CPUs. Battery life in this lower-end configuration gets a big boost.

Dropping the higher-resolution screen and edge-to-edge glass overlay means the look is not as slick, and losing touch makes Windows 8 harder to use.

Taking a second look at the new XPS 13, this lower-end version costs less and has better battery life, but isn't as tightly designed.

Dell XPS 13 Touch ( Core i5, 8GB, 128GB)

Dell now steps to the forefront with a laptop design tweak that feels so obvious, it's a wonder we haven't seen it before. Taking a cue from the past few generations of television design, the screen bezel, the outer border of glass and aluminum that...

Dell's revamped XPS 13 has a nearly borderless display and a very small body for a 13-inch laptop, plus the latest Intel CPUs.

Upgrades can get expensive; a touchscreen isn't included by default; the boost from the new CPU is minimal.

This new Dell XPS 13 is the first great laptop of 2015, but it owes that title more to a smart design revamp than Intel's new processors.

Dell XPS 13 (OLED, 2021) review

With the XPS 13 OLED, the best laptop meets the world's best display technology

Breathtaking 3.5K OLED display ; Striking, ultra-thin design ; Portable yet sturdy chassis ; Fast performance ; IR camera and fingerprint sensor

Battery life takes a hit with OLED ; Limited port selection ; No webcam shutter ; Weak graphics

Dell's XPS 13 OLED equips our favorite laptop with the best display yet — there are some sacrifices, but the overall package is mouthwatering.

Dell XPS 13 9305 Core i5 Full HD laptop in review: Less display, better colors

With the display downgrade from 16:10 to 16:9, Dell has created an entry-level XPS at an attractive price. The 16:9 panel isn't a bad choice, and it's even better than the 16:10 one in some respects.

bright, high-quality Full HD display;high performance per watt;quiet or moderately loud under load;respectable audio quality;upgradeable M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 SSD;fingerprint reader;small, light, and slim design;fast microSD reader;good colors out of the box

RAM and WLAN are soldered and not upgradeable;low gaming performance;no webcam shutter

Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition review: The perfect machine for normies to try Linux

We've had many people asking us about Linux, and the Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition is the perfect machine for normies to dip their toes in.

The Dell XPS 13 design is still outstanding ; Great build quality ; Amazing display ; Very good performance ; Decent speakers ; Small, light, and portable ; Probably the best pre-installed Liniux option currently

Limited ports ; Speakers are bottom mounted ; May be a bit pricey considering Ubuntu Linux is a free OS

Dell XPS 13 review (XPS 13 9315 2022 ultrabook model)

Seeing that I was satisfied with the Dell XPS 13 Plus, it makes sense to give the regular Dell XPS 13 model a little attention too.

durable, compact and lightweight design ; fingerprint and face unlock ; fair performance and quiet fans under normal loads ; fair battery life with casual use ; good speakers

hardly any IO, including missing headphone jack and Microsd ; no upgrade options ; my unit had uneven feet

Dell XPS 13 9305 review – old but sleek chassis with new hardware

The XPS series is by far the most recognizable premium brand of Dell. It has not only been synonymous with the manufacturer's engineering excellence, but also with a design fashion that remai…

Astonishing battery life;Very thin profile;99% sRGB coverage and accurate colors with our Gaming and Web design profile (Sharp 4V0HY-LQ133M1 (SHP14AE));No harmfull PWM above 120 nits and reaches above 400 nits (Sharp 4V0HY-LQ133M1 (SHP14AE));Charges...

Needs a dongle to expand the I/O;Soldered memory

Reusing chassis designs is not uncommon in the laptop industry. However, it is really interesting how Dell managed to pull this off with brand new hardware, on a body that is old enough to go to kindergarten.

Dell XPS 13 OLED Review: The Best Looking Laptop You (Probably) Shouldn’t Buy

Last year Dell released a nearly perfect laptop. The XPS 13 (2020) is sleek, super portable, great to type on, and has wonderful battery life. One of our complaints? No OLED option. I've been working on a $1,599 OLED Dell XPS 13 for a couple of months,...

The same sleek case as other XPS 13 Models ; Gorgeous Display ; Touch screen

Expensive ; The Battery Life is Atrocious

Dell XPS 13 OLED review

With great performance, a stylish chassis, and a beautiful 3.5K OLED touchscreen, the Dell XPS 13 with OLED is a premium Windows laptop.

3.5K OLED display delivers vibrant colors and deep blacks ; Slim, attractive chassis with beautifully thin bezels ; Strong performance ; Comfy keyboard

Grainy 720p webcam ; Paucity of ports ; Battery life could be better

That said, the option to add an OLED display makes one of the best laptops on the market even better. With great performance, good speakers and a beautiful 3.5K OLED touchscreen, the Dell XPS 13 is a premium Windows laptop that should stand you in good...
