This is a great laptop, bought it for my wife and she loves it, Windows7 is very user friendly, and VERY FAST, I have windows XP, windowa Vista but windows 7 is even better, very happy, good value, and Amazon service is just the best.

Great Laptop

 

I actually have the VPCEH15FX, it is the same laptop with an i5 2410m CPU. The Sony laptops seemed to have the most stable hinges/screens. No seesaw effect. This is important to me because I travel. The screen doesn't shake or flex, stays relatively...

Great keyboard, touchpad, screen. Good construction. Long battery life, > 4 hours with moderate use (internet, word, music player, etc). Sandy Bridge processor. Intel 3000 graphics are the best yet from Intel. Fast boots. Runs cool

Price. Look for it on sale. All the usb ports are on the sides towards the front of the laptop. Would have liked at least one near the rear, so dongles don't get in the way as much. Only handles 720p, but most 15 inch laptops are similar. No usb 3.0....

Absolute beauty + power

 

slapped a crucial C300 64gb ssd and installed windows 7. it latterly takes 8 secs from power on to my msn login :D. atto disk benchmark noted 360mb peak read speeds. thats awesome :D

1) Design ; 2) light weight ; 3) Sata 3 support ; 4) 2nd gen i3 mobile, is not bad at all

well, it was advertised that this unit gets no finger prints.. hmm, well it does lol. not a lot of them but a few, yet its less noticeable
