eMachines M6805 Athlon 64 Notebook Review

eMachines was the first to release a notebook based on the Athlon 64 Mobile processor, and they made it a powerful one at that. With a price tag that should make other manufacturers blush.

Great power! Awsome for the money

Fast, great display, great video, lots of USB ports. Good position on CDRom.

Fairly heavy, battery does not last all that long, cheezy sounding speakers.

Nothing but BAD luck with this Emachine

My eMachine M6805 did not work properly from day one. The first sign of something wrong was when I tried to burn a CD it sounded like something major was "knocking" inside of it. It started giving me the BSOD (blue screen of death). It started to be ...

Do not buy a eMachines product, period!

I bought a 64bit eMachines laptop in early February 04, based on the reviews online, including those posted here. Exactly a month later, I went upstairs after logging off and shutting down after midnight. I was using it for business (coding). The next ...

64 Bit processor is good and runs queries much faster than a Centrino.Good Looks.

Warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.Nonexistent warranty coverage. Screen DULL!
