Nice Windows 8 Netbook

* The netbook comes with Windows 8 32-bit installed. When I upgraded to Windows 8.1, the OS replaced the Intel Graphics Drivers with generic ones from Microsoft. The netbook became sluggish and slow as a result. At the time of this writing the Gateway...

Windows 8 in netbook format. It's small, light and portable ; Touchscreen is very responsive ; HDMI output works great and includes audio on the same cable. Just plug it into your TV and the netbook takes care of the rest. At least in my case it did...

Small . . .bt capable

Others have commented about limitations for drivers . . . but . . . The Gateway site has all of the drivers for Windows 8/8.1 in 64-Bit as they have in 32-Bit Just remember that one cannot just -upgrade- to 64-Bit as it has to be a -clean- install

It is small, lightweight, portable, and runs most main stream applications ; The CPU, while weak, is a 64-Bit capable unit and the memory can go to 4GB in the -only- one available slot

It's motor is on the light side, but adequate for web surfing and e-mail . . . what most people use a laptop for
