Consumer review (newegg.com)

So far so good

I bought this for work and don't game much anymore but I like knowing it's good for entertainment for those overnight trips.

This notebook was the best I could find for the money at the time (though I got the one without the BD). The looks of it have grown on me and it delivers well on older games. Medium at best for BF2. Highest settings for Fallout

A laptop.nothing more and nothing less.

To test it's bluray capabilities,I used "Avatar","Inception" and the Grindhouse "trilogy":"Planet Terror","Machete" and "Death Proof". The result:looked pretty good on it's screen AND my large screen Toshiba HDTV.Although I wouldn't use it as a gaming...

Quad - core technology (hey,it could be a single or a dual!) ; The graphics are very good ; Blu-ray player

The usual Acer/Gateway bloatware.Get ready 'cause there's alot ; You have to make your own recovery disks.(but a lot of manufacturers are doing that these days)
