Secondary Hard drive bay useless"

Pathetic support, pathetic hardware 

Worked for 6 months

The secondary hard drive caddy is not available from Gateway, any of Gateway's parts distributers, ebay, or anywhere else online! The wired and wireless devices stopped working after 6 months along with the VGA port and one of the USB ports

Don't let my cons comments deter you from buy... 

Really like the wide viewing screen and the price that comes with it. Has enough USB ports for easy plug-n-play. Gets a solid 2-3 hours off battery. Great wireless card with never any connection issues. No hang ups with multiple windows open

Poor viewing angles. Not really a fan of the keys on keyboard...but you get use to it. Default Gateway screensaver crashes. Speakers not the best quality. Not the sharpest looking laptop, but not the worst either. Hard to find on/off button at first

Fast processing, stylish, os is easy to use, not alot of preloaded software you don't want

bought it before the NV7915u came out which is its upgraded big brother model for the same price (I bought mine online for $600)

This is the second Gateway product to land in our test center after the Gateway NV5207u. The major difference between the two is screen size. Gateway NV5207u was a 15.6 inch screen size and this one is 17.3 inch. A screen of this big size means that...

Big screen, good resolution, good battery life

No Bluetooth and express card slot, keyboard and sound quality could have been better

NV7802u is an upgrade from the NV5207u, this laptop is for basic applications like typing or office. Not for gaming or applications which tax the hard ware. This laptop is not very expensive and will offer great value for your money.

The display of the computer is crisp 17.3 inch, 16:9 aspect ratio which is good for work and games/video watching. This display will give you a native resolution of 1,600x900 which is what a 17.3 inch screen should deliver. The picture quality is not...
