Good cheap laptop

 

Very nice little laptop, perfect for someone who is going to be using desktop applications, etc.

Only one memory slot - didn't mention that in the specs and I didn't do my homework and had ordered a 512 MB module.

fairly cheap price.

GMA900 graphics card does not support Vista Aero interface.

Great for the Money

 

Plenty fast enough for what I need. Hasn't given me any problems unlike my old Dell that cost 3x as much. And it has XP

Don't care for the power cord that plugs into the left side of the computer. Gets in my road

Great deal, Great laptop

 

Be careful with HP rebates. We ordered the laptop June10 w/ a rebate promotion from Jan1-July31 (advertised by newegg and printed on rebate), then after we buy the product and send off rebate 2-weeks later we get a response telling us they "changed"...

Great laptop, zero problems, runs well, very light & stable. XP runs well with the provided 512RAM. Power adapter is tiny. newegg delivers as always, shipment was quick, no problems & this was the first notebook I've bought from them

Bios is pretty weak, very few options at all and you get no OS disk, must make your own backup disk. HP really dropped the ball on the $100 rebate! We are still going back and forth with them to get it

Purchased for the wife

 

Very good system for the price.

This computer was exactly as advertised. The screen is very wide and quite bright. In fact I had it next to one of my desk top systems while getting into the network and it made me think the desk top screen was going bad as this one was so much...

It seems to run quite hot. I would hate to have this on my lap for an extended period
