HP Compaq nx9600 Notebook PC

Huge display; wide keyboard with dedicated numeric pad; tons of well-marked ports and slots; rich-sounding JBL Pro speakers.

Slow performance compared to other desktop replacements; giant case makes travel difficult; short warranty.

Though its Pentium 4 processor doesn't translate into mind-blowing performance, this full-featured corporate laptop makes an adequate desktop replacement.

Monster Laptop

 

I'll write another review after I've had it for a month.

A very fast machine at a great price. Runs BF2 with no problem. As always, Newegg and Fed-Ex broke speed records to get my order out. Thanks Newegg
